We just had two nights in The Linhay. It was warm, cosy and beautifully set up. You couldn't ask for more in November than a blazing woodburner and a hot tub after a long coastal walk. Annie, Vicky and families couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Thoroughly recommended.

Just returned from a wonderful break at the brilliant Cheristow Farm Cottages - we stayed in the Stables cottage. The cottage had everything you could want - even a wood burning stove to enjoy in the evenings. Plenty of room for a family of 4 and our pet Jack Russell. A hot tub and sauna being available too was a...

Fab warm welcome, stunning setting and lovely accommodation. This part of Devon was new to us, but Cheristow made a great place to explore from. Love the little touches like walking maps provided in the cottages and the offer of a lift to and from the local pub for dinner. Very friendly owners - but unobtrusive. Amazing Wi-fi and -...

Well, I have to say that this family run farm has got to be a beacon for others to visit . My wife and I, our 2 children and 2 dogs spent a week and I think if we had wanted to possibly could have not used the car for that period. However that said M 8 and H 12...

We had the loveliest week in The Granary in Cheristow Farm Cottages. THe cottage had everyone you would want for a week on hols including a BBQ, outdoor seating area, flasks/lunch boxes for picnics etc. The decor is vintage, simple and beautiful. Its perfect for kids as there's a large shared garden out the back of the cottage with a...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay here and thank you very much for your kind comments. It would be great if you were able to come again - at the moment the 5 young piglets have out-cuted the runner ducks as the top attraction at feeding time... And we're working on the frustratingly dodgy WiFi connection. Thanks again for...

Just a note of caution when booking a cottage here - I made a reservation on 2nd March 2016 for a weekend this coming September. Annie, the owner, was delighted when she called me a week or so later to ask if I could resend the deposit as she hadn't taken it in time(?). Then a few days ago the...

Oh Dear - I'm so sorry to have alienated this potential guest and have apologised repeatedly for my mistakes. The first, not taking the booking deposit before card details became unavailable, was due to my not fully understanding the Booking system used. Then, I mistakenly entered the reservation for the wrong cottage on our Bookings Chart. When I realised my...

Arrived at Cheristow Farm Cottages at Midday on Wednesday and were met by the lovely, friendly and helpful Owners, Annie and Quentin and Vicky and Ian and their motley crew of happy dogs. We were shown into our very clean, comfortable and cosy cottage. A gale was blowing in from the Atlantic below the Farm so we set off for...

Our family of three had a marvellous time staying in The Granary at this friendly and welcoming family-run enterprise. Our accommodation was comfortable, superbly equipped and prepped with scones, jam and clotted cream to get us off to a great start. The rugged North Devon coast is on your doorstep here and walks to Hartland Point and the village of...

Just returned from a weekend short break at Cheristow Farm Cottages where we stayed in The Milking Parlour and it was fantastic! The location is very remote but great for getting away from it all, so be prepared to use your car or preferably do lots of walking, which is the best way to see the unspoilt scenery. The owners,...
