The location of this camping, next to the Visitor Center inside the National Park, is very convenient. Each tent site has space for two medium tents and it includes a table and benches and a fireplace with grill. We liked it here, but if we ever come to Zion again, we might stay at the South camping, as the tent...

This site is great, overlooked by the mountains and so close to the entrance. However, the ground at our site was too hard to put tent pegs in and there wasn't much shelter so it was pretty hot/close in the tent at night. Aside from this it was a cracking place to stay and the toilet facilities were nice! The...

Watchman campground is a great option if you love to camp and don't mind roughing it. We stayed in loop C site 003, the views were amazing and close to the bathrooms, but not too close! There are no showers at the park, but there a some close by. If you follow the signs from the visitors center to the...

This is the third time I've stayed at the Watchman campground, although it's been 10+ years since the last visit. We stayed in the C loop, site #6. I believe this area is for tents only and as such, our site felt spacious. While the campground was noted to be full, there were several sites that went unoccupied during our...

What a great place to stay. This was our first stop in a National Park with our little travel trailer that turned out to be bigger than we thought it would be. It still travels well and fits in places like Watchman Campground. We reserved our space on line a few weeks ago, assuming crowds thinned out in later September....

We stayed one night and wish it had been one week. What a beautiful spot less than a mile from My Zion. We had an rv spot right on the river, walked the river and did some fishing. The sites are close, but the motor home made a sort of wall between us and the rowdy neighbors. We had two...

The campground itself and rangers here are fantastic. We had a group campsite and our plan was to get to sleep early and wake up at 530am for some hiking. Our neighbor's plans were to stay up yelling to 1230am. Our other neighbors had many little screaming kids. We saw others chopping local wood for their camp fire. I really...

Stayed in Loop D, Site 21. Great view from site. Tent pad was large enough for two 12x17 tents and driveway was able to accommodate two full size trucks. Site has great shade in morning and late afternoon. The mid day sun will be on the tents though. Great place to camp in Zion.

Nothing like opening up your tent to views of mountains on every side! This campground is incredible. Also, lots of nice conveniences - big wide flat space for your tent, table and benches to eat, 2 nice big boulders that make ideal seats or cooking surfaces, and the bear box easily accessible. We were a good distance from other people,...
