We stayed 2 nights in the Elk Mountain Campground and were very pleased with our experience. Most of the sites are pretty secluded (for a campground) and it wasn't very crowded (as we hear is typical of this park).

Very nice campground... No trailer hookups, but that is ok! Shaded sites for tents... Very spacious. Close to the Wind Cave and Jewel Cave attractions. Park host and hostess were exceptional! Please follow park rules when approaching wild bison!! They can be unpredictable!
