We stayed at the cabins at Lewis Mountain for a few days, and drive up to Big Meadows Lodge for breakfast. The portions were large and the food was delicious. But our waiter, Henry, was the best part of our visit. Henry was attentive without...More
We had a really nice, but simple lunch of soup and burgers. The service was equally good, but the setting is what sets it apart. It's like stepping vack into the 30's or 40's. I was definately recommend it if you are on Skyline Drive.

Sorry for the late response. The hotel rooms or non-main lodge mostly face the woods. Still pretty though. If you want a valley view, you should stay in the mail lodge. I love those old rooms anyway. Do not expect modern amenities. The rooms are about in the original condition when the place was built. No A/C, small showers or tub, rustic, but I love it. Hope this helps.
