My husband & I had a patio room which came with a fridge & micro wave. The location of the lodge is second to none & watching the river in front of you is idilic. The only problem we had was we rang through & asked if we could bbq & was told no. When we arrived @ the lodge...

Great place to stay while visiting the park. Great location, just a few miles away from the end "road end permit station". Recommended for families, the staff is great real friendly. Breakfast is not until 7:30 but it's good. Dinner is ok, nothing fancy. The rooms are clean but have no fridge (witch is very important when you have a...

We spent two wonderful evenings listening to the roaring Kings River off the deck of this lodge. The manager took great care of us, and the food is reasonably priced at the counter. The rooms were older, but the linens were new and fresh. Rustic and well worth the price. Location is difficult to get to, but that makes it...

This is an older facility nestled back in Kings Canyon National Forest. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a rustic lodge with most everything you need, most of all beauty and relaxing views, sounds and just the most amazing sites nature can provide. It is a trip my whole family including extended family does every year......

We visited here with our 2 boys and a brother. The location next to Kings River with rushing water sound and beautiful forests/mountain peaks was fantastic. They have a nice 2 level porch for eating meals and relaxing while listening to the sounds and watching wildlife. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff, including Catherine, worked very hard to...

We stayed early June 2015. It is in a beautiful location, right next to roaring river. It is the only lodge at the end of Kings Canyon. It is about an hour drive to Grant Grove. Clean enough. We stayed in a standard room with two queen beds. Typical motel room, but cozy. Walls are paper thin! They put in...

If you want to be where the action is in Kings Canyon, without camping, this is the only game in town. We had been told the restaurant was a "snack bar," but it turned out to have a decent menu and the staff was very helpful. We arrived in the dark and our first sight was the moonlight over the...

Lovely place, great setting, awesome shop. If visiting - just bear in mind it all closes down about 9pm so get there early. Great in sunshine to take breakfast and dinner from the diner and sit by the river. The food is simple fast food fare but was surprisingly good. The shop is awesome and had more than you could...
