Quite expensive for what you get. Room is small, outdated and very basis (not even a chair). However a tv with lots of channels, that you ofcourse hopefully don't need while you want to enjoy either Sequoia of Kings Canyon which are both beautiful. We arrived at 7, the front desk was already closed and our key was taped to...

The room offers quite a lot despite it being a lodge. Even toiletries. There is no hair dryer because of electrical issues. But front desk has one. Water takes 15 minutes to get hot, if you are the first in the house in the morning. A dated interior, but ads to the charm of a lodge. The place closes at...

Nothing special about the place. It's a pretty typical, small, and budget-quality lodge you'd expect to find in a U.S. National Park. Service is casually adequate and the staff is friendly. It's conveniently located near many of the trails and sightseeing spots. Great for early morning hikes before all the tourists from outside the park arrive. Has a self-service gasoline...

If you are thinking of staying here don't. We recently stayed here for one night. We arrived late in the evening when no one was on site. Our key was taped to the front door with instructions. When we went to our room we found that the bedding and pillowcases were dirty. The pillowcases had something that looked like blood...

If the price was not so high (405$ for two nights taxes and breakfast included), it could be a place to recommend visiting the Kings Canyon. It’s a strange place, the location is quite perfect, you can have dinner for about 10$, the service is ok, but for this price you expect a better room.

What an absolutely stunning location and backdrop. Sequoia is a magical place and I would recommend anyone to go there. Just don't stay at stoney creek lodge. Where do I start, the young girl on the front desk, we got there about 3pm. First words not hello or how are you, but checkin is at 4. Just to make sure...

The lodge is in an ideal location -- 10 miles from Kings Canyon entrance and 10 miles from Sequoia Big Trees. The place is very clean and quite and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The Breakfast (which is included in the room price) is home made and delicious. You need to take all your food out of your car as...

This was by far the most disappointing stay we have ever experienced in many years of travel. To be very specific: trash was overflowing all over the porch upon entering; 1 person was running the small store and registration desk leading to long lines and customer frustrations; when rooms were 'cleaned' towels on floor we hung up to reuse, no...

This is a small family-run lodge in the National Forest just outside Sequoia National Park. It is adjacent to a large campground. It has an indoor corridor. Rooms are comfortable, fairly small, clean. Staff is friendly. If you get there after the desk closes they tape your key to the door. There is a small public seating area with dim...

Who doesn't love Sequoia National Park. Stony Creek is at the halfway point making it the perfect rest stop. We spent the night in a caring room with craftsman furnishings. Only negative..hot water takes forever and no hairdryerd. Front desk warned us in advance that systems are old and the place runs on a generator. Breakfast was superior with multiple...
