We just returned from a three-night stay at John Muir Lodge. In spite of a construction project that put dining in the lobby area, the stay was wonderful. Staff, in particular, were the best we've encountered at a national Park. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were a bit dated, but overall, considering the remoteness of this location and...

Such a beautiful setting and wonderful, attentive staff. The rooms were comfortable and the common area was great for dining and meeting other travelers. The historical photos gave a context for the founding of the park and appreciation for the redwoods. We had a blast snow shoeing!!

While we first intended to get to the Wuksaki Lodge, it was snowing and the roads were not passable so we would up here. The were very accommodating to our last minute arrival with a lovely and very comfortable room. While we did not get to see the General Sherman Tree, we did hike the snowy paths to the General...

My boyfriend and I had a great time. This lodge is beautiful and easy to find and it was really clean and quiet. Although the lodge is like a hotel, it felt like we were alone in a cabin which was really nice. It was snowing when we went, so they had a board that updated us on road conditions...

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed is super comfortable and warm, and the setting is unique to say the least. The staff was so helpful, they opened the kitchen early (3pm) just for us, normally they do not serve food in the offseason until later tin the day. We also needed some emergency gas for the rental car, as...

This place is incredible in being IN the national park and walking distance from the Grant Grove of sequoias. The walk, which leaves from the lodge itself, up to the panoramic point, was wonderful, and we had a nice 5-hour adventure walking on the snow. We were rewarded with a great view out over Kings Canyon. So, we give the...

Great place, great staff!! The scenery was a amazing and it was wonderful staying in the lodge with so many other adventurous people! Would suggest not to go in the winter as many roads were closed off but still lots of adventures to be had in the area!! Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!

Good, simple lodge with standard amenities. Main restaurant was under construction and the lodge served as a temporary restaurant...food was good, but not great. The location is great in the winter for snowshoeing. X-Country skiing is not really for beginners, although we did find some routes that were OK.

The hotel is very close to Grant Grove and other amenities. Location near start of park allowed access without having to put on snow chains. I would absolutely return to this property, and hopefully will have a longer visit next time.
