Great experience. Nancy was very informative and welcoming. We went on the 3 hour morning ride. The horses are wonderful, the scenery is unforgettable, and other than a sore butt and some sore muscles, it was an absolutely fantastic day. Well worth the money.

Just had a great relaxing time at the Stehekin Ranch. Staff worked hard to make the time most enjoyable. The meals were good and tasty. Enjoyed kayaking with our leader, Krissa, on Lake Chelan. Also had a great time horseback riding and hiking. Pure outdoors!! Totally off the grid away from urban madness!!

Lovely location a short shuttle bus (or rental bike) away from the nearly phone-free town of Stehekin. Comfortable lodging in the cabin, 3 great meals a day, and cowboy coffee from dawn to dusk. Just the right size to be social or not, as you like. Our children (and the parents) liked swimming in the lake and Rainbow Falls, kayaking,...

Horseback riding, rafting, eating dinner while deer and horses graze in the pasture, You must also go to the Bakery near town, I suggest flying in and taking the boat out, or vice versa. Take the longest horseback ride you can and go after kids are back in school and it's not crazy packed with tourists on the boat to/from...

This was a great family vacation with our grown children with plenty for everyone to do. We hiked, fished and biked. It was also great being off the grid for a few days. No distractions! And delicious food - and the PIE is the best! We've now hiked in and taken the boat and both work great.

Just got back from the Ranch and had a wonderful week enjoying all that Stehekin has to offer. We stayed in the tent cabins - clean and very comfortable. We used the Ranch transportation to access up valley for hiking & had Stehekin Fishing Adventures guide us on the upper and lower river -- rainbows and cut-throats. Despite national reports...

We stayed in a tent cabin that was rustic but very clean. We especially enjoyed the quaint kerosene lantern. The ranch was great in all respects - good food, delicious pies, friendly people, and fun activities. We borrowed bikes and hiked Agnes Gorge one day, then went on a kayak trip and visited Rainbow falls the next day. Fun all...

We just enjoyed a cool, peaceful, evening at the Stehekin Valley Ranch. After a pleasant boat ride to the head of Lake Chelan, we had a great dinner at the Ranch and a cool, pleasant walk along the Stehekin River afterward. The night in a tent cabin was cool, quiet, and dark. We had a great night's sleep, followed by...

Having had a one time three night experience at this ranch that was good, we thought we would return again in 2015. Having made a reservation four months prior, but then needed to cancel two months before the arrival date, we thought we would receive a full 100% refund. Not the case, the ranch keeps 25% of your deposit, nonrefundable!...
