We camped here for two nights back at the end of July. We were at C-12 and the locations was a very short walk to the "comfort station". Cute name for the flush toilets/bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised that there were flush toilets nearby. :)...More

What a let down. We had planned to stop in and get a picnic. Actually our itinerary largely depended on this for lunch. We arrived at the store 11am. Well, the fridge was empty, barely anything to drink even. Was hoping to grab a pre-made...More

My stay here was very brief. I didn't even stay the night. I had hiked Mt. Lassen earlier, and after a shower and snack at the store, decided to beat the heat and any traffic. My car isn't air conditioned, and it was hot the...More

Hi! we are planning a trip for July 2018... in tents. First, which sites would be the most scenic? and Second - how cold will it be at night? will we be okay with just sleeping bags? thanks!

20' trailer should fit most sites. You could call the camp and they can let you know which sites /how many are available. Some sites are first come and some you can reserve. There are limited # sites that you can just show... More

Does anyone have an opinion about what reservable site is the nicest and most private? We are tent campers. It certainly sounds like the un reservable D loop is the favorite so we might just have to find a new spot when we get there. But I sure would be nice to not have that stress.
