This rustic lodge was an awesome experience! The views were spectacular, the food was hearty and delicious. The staff shared Southern hospitality and very helpful. The hike up Bull Head and down Rainbow Falls was strenuous. Allow plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views.

We hiked the Trilliam Gap trail to LeConte Lodge. We stayed in one of the cabins which I would recommend. It was an awesome experience. no electricity, no running water BUT they do have flush toilets!!!! The cabin was clean, the staff helpful but allowed you to venture out on your own. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Lots of...

So glad that I was given this opportunity. This totally exceeded my expectations! Loved the lodge and everyone was so friendly. The food was better than I expected as well and there was plenty of it! Hiking to sunrise at Myrtle Point was a highlight! I cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I just got back from another wonderful hike up to LeConte. This was our second visit and it was just as adventurous as the first. We can't say enough good things about the staff up there. They are very friendly and helpful and the food is pretty good too. I must admit that I really miss Alum...

If you're looking for a high-mountain wilderness experience par excellence in the Great Smoky Mountains, this is it. LeConte Lodge has no vehicular access, so you spend a day hiking in and a day hiking out. We hiked in from Newfound Gap, but there are other trails leading to Mt. LeConte. Our hike was 8 miles, partly on the Appalachian...

Wonderful lodge only for those that hike to it. No electricity. Propane heat and lights. Real toilets. Family style delishish meals. They accommodated my gluten allergy. Beautiful views that are amazing in all seasons. I even saw two bears! The staff was very helpful. We will go again this year.

LeConte Lodge is one of only five hike-inns in the United States. That means...the only way you can stay there is to hike over five miles to the top of Mt. LeConte. If you love to hike, this is an unforgettable experience. There are several trails up and down, but having been there numerous times, I recommend coming up and...

A very special place to visit! The lodge has great history and is a great experience. First you have to be in good shape to hike to this lodge. There are 5 different trials to get there. The longest is 8 miles which is Boulevard. The shortest is Alum which is closed Monday - Thursday until the improvements are finished.Once...

After an impromptu hike to the lodge in June, my husband and I found out the same weekend that we had been picked from the wait list to stay the first weekend in July. In June we went up and down Alum the same day. As we had never been to the bluffs before, it was a challenging but doable...

Last week the lodge took in some dehydrated hikers that would have not made it back down the mountain before dark. They pretty much saved their lives. They said that the food was great and there was a medic that took care of them in the middle of the night. Thank you!
