We stayed here in June, and I thought that, given the nighttime temps in the area, that we would not be hot. It was manageable with fans, but still warmer than I imagined. Still, it is convenient, and the dining area is nice.

Secluded and comfortable in a rustic environ. The facilities are pretty outdated, but because we were out most of the day, and so tired upon our return, we were ok with it. It is off the beaten path and a hike to get around but the bus service was very crowded! I wish someone had told us to study the...

If all one wants is a room, this is the place to stay. The room was clean but severely dated. There is no air conditioning. The room was hot upon checking into it, While it had 2 fans to help ventilation, unfortunately, the windows are not secure to keep partially opened. So it was a bit warm through out the...

Quiet, comfortable and slightly rustic lodge near the South Rim. The outside looks like a summer camp cabin and it feels that way with lots of smaller lodges. Exterior doorways. Friendly staff and large cafeteria for meals plus a bar. Approx 15-20 minute walk from the lodge to the rim of the Canyon - it would be a decent walk...

We stayed in the motel rooms that had air conditioning, with two queen beds and a little balcony. The room had a lovely vaulted ceiling which made it more pleasant. It did not give you a clean feeling, probably because the furnishings are a bit old and definitely showing their age. Towels were exfoliating and could have been used to...

This place was a decent rate so we stayed the night there just to experience one night at the park. It's small and basic, but clean. We didn't eat at the cafeteria. We had stopped to eat in Cameron which was well worth the loop drive to get over there. There's a couple scenic stopping points with great views along...

Very simple rooms - no air - generally not needed - fans are in rooms and windows open -- part of a complex very close to canyon rim. Quick walk down a trail, 1/4 mile. The main building houses a very nice large variety of cafeteria style foods, pizza to salads to meals to burgers etc. Serves all day long....

This hotel is very outdated. The room was dirty, the bed linens and towels were just awful. The sliding window to go outside to your "deck" was in such bad repair it was almost impossible to open! The a/c did not keep the room cool. We booked a package trip from the grand canyon railway with a train trip and...

Our room was very outdated and had bugs, including some decent sized spiders. The bathrooms appear to have been updated in the last few years, but had not been cleaned very well. The bedspreads are very old and outdated. Didn't even want to touch them much less sleep under them. The cafeteria had decent cafeteria style food. Signs to denote...
