We stayed at the lodge for two nights at one of the coldest and snowiest times this winter. The room was so warm we had to turn the heat down to sleep at night. The room is dated but very functional and clean. It was great to be able to get up in the morning and be out hiking along...

I left Vegas heading to Phoenix, AZ. and realized that I was close to the GC. I had 3 days to be in AZ, so I decided spur of the moment to go to the GC. I just drove up there, which was amazing !!!! So much to see, words cannot describe the abundance of scenery on the drive up...

I read all of the reviews and was pleasantly surprised when we got there! The people were wonderful and helpful. The rooms was new, clean and comfortable! It was big and actually was one of the nicer rooms I have stayed in as far as comfort and convenience. The bathroom was new and updated. The carpet was new and clean....

No charm, no view, but functional. I parked next to the door which matters if, like me, you have heavy bags and a cooler to carry. Short walk to where the two primary shuttle bus loops intersect - this is important to make efficient use of your time (avoid bus changes and extra waiting). Easy access to the west rim...

The best reason to stay here is the location. It's about a 5-minute walk to the rim and to the shuttle transfer point to get to Hermit's Rest, and the blue shuttle to the visitor's center stops at the registration desk/food court building. The next best is the room: Nicely appointed, firm mattresses, and good bathroom with sink separated from...

It was one of the lower priced places we researched. Since it was only one night and planned to be out early we went for it. It was nicely modernized with a fully redone immaculate bathroom, Keurig coffee and comfortable beds. A very nice surprise, exceeded our expectations.

Maswik Lodge worked out quite well for our one-night stay at Grand Canyon. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk from the rim and the Hermit’s Rest shuttle bus transfer point. The room’s HVAC was confusing, as when we arrived, the dials on the heater were set to Coolest temp and High Cool mode, and the heater was blasting out hot...

Stayed in February. Room was very clean. Keurig coffeemaker was very nice. Maybe 1/4 mile to rim. Short walk to lodge where you can eat pizza, get a beer, get some yogurt, or eat cafeteria style. We felt that the prices were very reasonable. There was an old TV with poor reception but really we didn't care because we were...

Our travel agent booked us at the maswik lodge and it was perfect for us when we visited the south rim. Everything was in walking distance from our room which was kind of tucked away, away from all the tourist walking around, but not too far where you couldnt get around.the room was cozy and had everything we needed, even...

Perfectly located in Grand Canyon park for connecting with trains or walking on trails. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food in the lodge was varied and delicious. The information desk was courteous and helpful. The bus drivers were knowledgeable and friendly. I would stay there again
