Every one who has researched the Grand Canyon that extra bit knows about the famed Bright Angel Trail which takes you down to the river. This lodge is perfectly poised in the heart of the South Rim village right in front of this trail. Walk out of your room and in 30 seconds you will be greeted with breathtaking views...

If you are visiting the grand canyon, staying at the Bright Angel Lodge will add enjoyment to your vacation; the convenience of staying in the park is priceless. The cabins are rustic....it's the grand canyon and perfect for the location. The Bright Angel Lodge is right at the rim and is where the trail begins if you wish to hike...

I stayed in a rim view Bright Angel cabin. The cabin itself is ok. Nothing fancy, but perfectly serviceable. But it was about 12 feet from one of the most scenic sights on earth. Seriously, I timed myself, it was 12 seconds from my door to the rim, and I was walking slow. Want to hike Bright Angel Trail? Cool,...

This is a difficult review to write. I mean, I was literally just a few yards from the rim of the Grand Canyon....and you want me to talk about the room I slept in? Seriously? Anyways, here it is. We stayed two nights at the lodge. We were put in Powell Lodge in a room with a toilet in a...

4 because of location and overall experience. 2 of us and stayed in a cabin. I believe there are 4 connected. Luckily everyone around us was quiet. It is incredibly peaceful in the morning and when sun goes down. Once all tourists come in it gets busy. Staff was friendly. First guy at check in just seemed annoyed with anything...

Stayed overnight at a rim-view cabin at the venerable Bright Angel Lodge in Grand Canyon National Park. The accommodations were quite nice and comfortable. The convenience to the south rim was simply outstanding. It was only a few steps from our door. The cabin was comfortable, warm and provided good amenities. A very good value.

While 2 people stayed at the Thunderbird Lodge we decided while checking in to also book a single at the Bright Angel Lodge. It turned out to be a cute cabin with a twin bed and all the same amenities, tv, fridge, Keurig. The cabin was small with wood cathedral ceiling. It can sleep 2 adults max. There would be...

We arrived at Bright Angel Lodge without a reservation after an amazing R2R hike. They were full on our first check but the front desk staff was SO wonderful in trying to find us accommodations. We checked back after eating tons of food and found that a room opened up right at that moment. We were very impressed by the...

Stayed one night in Bright Angel/Powell building on 3/2/17. We decided at the last minute to go to the Grand Canyon and I didn't see any room availability at the Bright Angel online, so I booked at the Yavapai Lodge. I then called the hotel directly and was told that there were rooms available at Bright Angel but only rooms...

We're staying here now, in the Powell Building. This is a great room, about 200sf with a nice bathroom. The shower is excellent and the bed is reasonably comfortable. For $110/night, considering it's about 100 from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, it's what we consider cheap! It doesn't have a view from the room, but it's so close...
