Glacier National Park is beautiful and if you are camping there are several campgrounds in, and just outside, the park. But Glacier's beauty draws the crowds and campgrounds fill quickly. I entered the park at 1030 am on Monday and was told by the ranger...More
We decided to camp here instead of Many Glacier because it's so uber competitive to stay there. Well, guess what? In early August, it was uber competitive to stay here, too! My DH and DD got there at 5:30 am to get a first come/first...More

Unfortunately I can't copy links here, but if you just do a google search for Rising Sun Campground, there should be a NPS link (National Park Services) that gives the info for that campground. Also if you search Glacier National Park, there should again be a NPS link for Glacier National park, which should include info for activities, food, lodging, etc for the area.
Also... I think this is the phone number for the Government Recreation Centre, and they should be able to answer campground questions. (406)732-7708.
Hope this helps!
