This was my fourth visit to Furnace Creek Inn, a resort I have enjoyed in the past. There is still much to like -- primarily the resort grounds and view. Unfortunately, the Inn is long overdue for an update. Bed linens are "pilly" and scratchy, furniture and room fixtures are banged up, and hallways are dingy with faded carpet. But,...

The rooms at the ranch were adequate, need a lot of repairs, but functioned. The restaurants at the ranch offered basic but good food. The staff there was helpful at all times. We had a dinner at the inn and was very good. They staff were good there too. Overall was a good place to stay to see Death Valley.👍

your choices here are either a room in 2 story buildings, or a "cabin", which aren't actually cabins, just rooms in a single story building, or camping. There are NO kitchenette type of rooms. Pros: people are nice, they have a swimming pool, bocce court, golfcourse. The rooms are clean, no evidence of any critters. The bar is good, we...

There is a resort, Inn and a ranch here. The resort is the more upmarket one. We just stopped at the Inn for a quick drink before hiking round Golden Canyon then checking out the Mesquite Sand Dunes before leaving the Park to head up towards Yosemite. We sat outside on the attractive patio overlooking the Badlands and had a...

I stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch, not the Resort - the two are dramatically different from one another, and it's somewhat deceptive that they're marketed and listed here on TripAdvisor as if they're the same property. We booked a standard, double queen room. The furnishing are dated and somewhat worn, and the mattresses and pillows were also old and...

We were excited about the location, but were very disappointed with the rooms when we arrived. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The room has no closets or luggage racks with very little room to put suitcases. There is a small table but if people are sitting at it, they block the bathroom door or the room...

Very hot pool with lots of people - not refreshing. Very expensive restaurant (but you're in the middle of the desert). Very large pizza's. Rooms are old but ok and fresh enough. Wifi was very unstable. Don't miss the sunsets !

Do not be confused, the Ranch is dramatically different from the Resort. The Resort has a conceierge scoping out the riff raft and directing them to the Ranch down the hill. It was actually fun watching him in action. Smooth, subtle, and snobbish. We stayed at the Ranch and simply went to the Resort to check out the digs. If...

We spent one night at Furnace Creek Ranch on our drive from Yosemite Valley to Las Vegas. It was 115 degrees when we arrived, with a hot desert wind. Check-in was easy and friendly, with lots of information about the ranch. We decided to stay here as options were limited (the Inn was closed for the season). The cabin room...

My husband and I stayed at one of the "cabins" at the Ranch. This is a bedroom with a bathroom only. The "closet" is 3 hooks on the wall next to the front door. We were told we would have a microwave, and like the people who checked in before us, this was not provided. The one bedside lamp on...
