We stayed at the B225 site. We loved it every minute. The toilets are perfectly clean and well maintained, in fact from all of the NPs run campgrounds, it was the best one we've stayed. You can take the shuttle from outside the campgrounds to...More

We have camped at over a dozen national parks in the last few years this is one of our least favorite campgrounds / sites. The bathrooms were nice, but that was the best part, The sites were generally small and on top of each other,...More

This might have been our best camping experience during our time in southern Utah. The sites have plenty of room, and the trees provide for privacy. The bathrooms are very good -- bring your own soap, but there is a dishwashing room provided, which is...More

We got lucky with an amazing spot the Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Site 282 is huge with lots of privacy and close to restroom. Here's some other feedback on the park itself. Pros: -you can always get a tent site without reservations if you...More

Close to the facilities without being too close. We were in a tent only look which was nice. Not a lot of tree coverage or shade which can be good/bad. It snowed while we were there so had some trouble finding trees to hang the...More

I'm planning a trip to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion in July. This is a road trip from Florida and my family's first time out West. I'm trying to book all our accommodations for the trip and am feeling pretty frustrated about the lack of sites available for reservation online. I'm one day from the opening of the reservation window for my desired date and all sites are already booked. I've read that you need to arrive early (by 8?) to secure a "first come" spot especially on the weekend. We are planning to drive up from the Grand Canyon on Saturday, July 15th so I don't see us making it there by 8 or any time before noon to secure a spot for ourselves. I'm hoping someone familiar with the campgrounds in the area can offer a little guidance here. I've considered leaving GC late on the 14th and staying overnight in a hotel near Bryce Canyon so we can get into the park early enough to get a camping spot. Am I needlessly worrying about this or will it be necessary to take this step?
