We booked this accommodation because, frankly, there seemed to be very little by way of alternatives. There is accommodation at Wall but we wanted to be on the doorstep of the park. And the lodges are certainly that. We had a lovely view from the back porch where we had nice steamer style seats and we were right in the... More

The cabins were rebuilt in 2013 to capture the simplicity of the original cabins and add the efficiency of modern construction. They look very campy on the outside, but were so cozy, clean and inviting on the inside. And waking up to the beauty of the Badlands right outside our front door was incredible! Our two youngest kids (8 and... More

Stayed there for a night for our visit to of course the Badlands national park. The cabin was simple but elegant. Small but spaceous enough. We can park the car in front. The visitor center, restaurants and amphitheater are walking distance from the cabins. If you are in badlands, stay here and don't think twice. Front desk (which is along... More

Very nice modern cabin set within Badlands NP. Tastefully decorated, huge room with microwave, frig, flat screen TV. Coffee maker. Great bathroom with double sinks & large shower. Wonderful bed & very clean room. I would bring my own food to eat here as the food in the restaurant was over priced & tasteless. Nothing close by to drive to.... More

spacious, clean, comfortable, and well located. The views of the surroundings from the windows and porch were great and were very memorable. Simple breakfasts/snacks can be prepared (microwave, refrig) and the nights were quiet and restful.

We... More

Totally renovated cabins have all the current amenities along with the charm of old school park cabins. They come with front and back porches with comfy log chairs on each. The bed was very comfortable. Wildlife came right up to our back door and we had a nice view of mountains and the spectacular sunrises and lightning storms that come... More

Really enjoyed our visit to the Badlands National Park and we were pleasantly surprised by our cabin at Cedar Pass Lodge. These are new cabins that are nicely furnished with lodge type furniture with a fridge and microwave. Each cabin has a porch, either on the front of back that allows for relaxation and just enjoying the scenery. Food at... More

We stayed two nights here while visiting the Park. The individual cabin we stayed in was newly refurbished, comfortable and clean. Views off the front porch were OK--there's a nice butte nearby, but the dirt road and other cabins across the way obscures it partially. Out the back was better--a more panoramic view of the surrounding buttes in the distance.... More

A Cedar Pass Lodge cabin is an excellent place to stay in the Badlands. Conveniently located and provides flavor of the area. The cabin is beautiful, the furniture is period appropriate, authentic and comfortable. Within walking distance to the Lodge for meals and shopping needs.
