First time to SA and on safari, Stayed 3 nights and highly recommend. Booked Ukhozi lodge, food and beverages are average. The catering staff offer drinks when they see your empty. There is no bar as such, they retrieve your drinks from a back room Now I wouldn't suggest getting carried away with alcohol during your stay but as a...

Fantastic experience over all. The lodge was the most beautifull one I have ever seen. Great scenery! Food and wine was great Our ranger wayne made us feel totaly safe sitting right next to lions and hippos and all the other great animals we were privileged to see.

We spent 3 nights in a suite at Ukhozi lodge which is great for couples. The suite was lovely with a large room, spa bath, shower and even a small terrace with a plunge pool. You are greeted by your guide, in our case Rosie, who then looks after you for your stay. Included in the cost are 2 game...

What an experience! The staff were friendly from start to finish. They introduced the lodge as "barefoot luxury" which is a fantastic description. The staff were attentive and friendly without being smothering. The rooms are amazing and luxurious without being pretentious. The food is simply fantastic, with the evening meals the particular highlight. The accompanying wine menu compliments this brilliantly...

Great safari experience in open jeeps. Variety of wildlife to see . Trips out were a bit long and left little time for relaxing. Swimming pool uninviting. Apart from Ben, our Ranger, staff made little effort to interact with guests. Food average and in short supply at times. Barbecue night good but expected some entertainment but there wasn't even music.

Fantastic landscape and plenty of animals. Rangers are top notch and always try their best to get as close and safe as possible for great photo angles. Spotted all of the big fives except lepards but then they are even shyer than the warthogs

Beautiful Lodges, extreme friendly staff and great food. We were on tour with our Ranger Cleo, his knowledge, love and passion for the animals and nature made the stay at Kariega Reserve to one of the best experiences we've ever made!
