We loved our trip mount Tamborine - the town is gorgeous and lots to see and do and Pethers is in a great location. Me and my girlfriend got the Ultimate Escape Package and it didn’t disappoint. The room was fantastic and we loved the breakfast basket in the morning. Our check-in was seamless and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The massages were great and therapists come to your room which is super convenient. The therapists did spill massage oil on the floor which we had to clean up after they left. Apart from that small mishap couldn't fault it and would recommend to visit for a couples weekend getaway!

Delighted you had a great weekend. Agree the Ultimate Escape is a super package. Many thanks for mentioning the oil - have talked to the therapists about that. Hope to see you again soon. In the meantime, stay safe.

Hi Debbie, Delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. You're so right. The size of the treehouse with the breath-taking rainforest view and the restaurant food and setting are highlights of Pethers. Also really pleased you found the breakfast delicious as we've been working on that. Look forward to seeing you again soon!

Reception area was a bit run down. Shame considering how beautiful the spot it. Our cabin was lovely and spacious. Bed was super comfy - rest of the furniture was super not comfy. No nice soft lounge to relax on. Outdoor furniture is just steel chairs. No cushions. Nothing comfy on the deck to sit and relax and listen to the beautiful sounds of the rainforest. Great spot for a hammock. Bath is fabulous. Tiling around the bath area was tired and very slippery.

Room Tip: Cabin 4 at the end is nice and private and has beautiful big tree ferns off the deck.

Hi Emma, Thanks for your feedback. While the reception itself is small, it is surrounded by a reasonable size waiting area which leads into the rest of the Main Lodge and restaurant. Sorry, our Team should have asked you to relax in one of the comfy chairs located in the waiting area, around the fireplace in the Main Lodge or near the bar. The treehouses are very spacious and the leather sofas and chairs are deigned to be in keeping with rainforest setting. There are large cushions which can be used on the sofa if required and also cushions in the cabinet for use on the outdoor furniture. The cushions are not kept outside in order to help keep them clean. The double spa overlooking the rainforest is a highlight. The towels provided are good to sit on when getting in and out of the spa and additional towels are always available where required. Warm regards

The rooms are gorgeous. Absolutely HUGE. We unfortunately had terrible trouble sleeping at night (Tree house no. 2) Every 20minutes or so as you would start to drift off there was massive BANGS on the tin roof from I'm guessing what was animals playing in the trees knocking down branches. It was like a real African safari! Haha. It gave us a terrible fright each time. Maybe everything was soggy from all the recent heavy rain? I'm not sure.. We chose to only stay one of our 2 nights planned due to Brisbane COVID lockdown and nothing much on the mountain to do the next day (Horseriding etc cancelled) It was a shame to throw away $250 on the second nights accomodation we could no longer enjoy but not much could be done. We didn't realise until we came home and read the reviews that there was internet wifi dongle available. We would likely had stayed on had we of known this (It was important for us to be able to keep in touch with family and friends, news etc) Reviews also read that the chocolate and sparkling was complimentary. Darn, we would have enjoyed some if we had known. Maybe a little sign or tell guests on check in? I notice there wasn't a guest book. Maybe it could be included and could cover these things. Breakfast was great. (Though I don't know what you would do if you had allergies/dietary restrictions. I don't remember having an say) Staff were very lovely and we overall enjoyed our stay. Pack mozzie repellent for outside.

Sorry about the wildlife. Usually they are well behaved, but obviously not the night you stayed! The complimentary chocolate and sparkling are in the mini fridge. I apologise if you weren't informed of that. Reception will always help if you can't find anything or need any assistance. We do gluten free and vegan breakfasts and can also cater for other special dietary requirements if given advance notice. Hope to see you again soon - 2 nights as you originally planned is much more relaxing that one.

Great location, great fit out and great staff who were very helpful to suggest things to do in the area. Would absolutely recommend - nothing was too much trouble for them - well done. We really enjoyed the stay and wish it could have been longer.
