We stayed in July in the Lorikeet cottage for 4 nights. The cottage was very nice with a full kitchen, log fire, air-conditioning and a separate bedroom with a king bed. It has a nice deck looking out over the lovely large gardens and horse paddocks and it was great that we were able to take the dog for a small cleaning fee. It's also in a good quiet location just a few minutes drive from North Tamborine. There was a bit of a mix up over the breakfast hamper we ordered but the owner more than made up for it with a few extra items in it that we wasn't expecting which was a nice gesture. My only slight disappointment was that there was only one bath towel each in the bathroom with no hand towels or shower mat to stand on when getting out of the shower. Apart from that the cottage had everything we needed and we had a great time staying there.

Should be giving this accommodation 5 stars but unfortunately due to staying there a week ago & still not being reimbursed $90 for breakfast hampers I am not. Out of pocket for that + additional money to go purchase own breakfast. On positive note if staying here & don’t purchase breakfast option it’s a beautiful peaceful escape with luxury linens on beds & everything you need for a perfect retreat great for couples or even family. Just disappointed in service.

Poor service. We have booked our Christmas holiday for our two families but when we arrived we offered one cottage.
We ended up leaving the place snd cancel our holiday without a refund or help.
The person there asked us only to contact the booking site.
Left me with a Very bad taste in my mouth

Lovely cottages surrounded by lush gardens and tropical trees. A great getaway from city life to enjoy the solitude and bird life. Very comfortable beds and has everything one needs for a short stay. Just needs a bigger TV for the evenings!

We stayed in the Lorikeet Cottage with a family of 4 adults, 1 child and a dog. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, fully self contained and cosy for our 3 night stay. The owners of the property Alison & Colin were extremely accommodating, helpful and added to the experience of our wonderful stay.
The bedding was super comfortable and great quality bedding, coming from a hospitality background this is always a biggie for me. We had a nice fire place, kitchen and 2 QSB and a trundle for our nephew.
The location is very close to great restaurants, cafe's and all the walks, wineries and sights to see on the mountain.
I highly recommend the cottages for great value and a lovely stay taking in the ambiance of the mountain environment 11 acres with horses and beautiful gardens. We will be back soon for sure!
