Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Kidd Street Cottage’s for 3 nights.
The cottages themselves are beautiful inside very well furnished with nice Veranda and table and chairs outside
Kidd Street cottages is in the centre of town walking distance from shops bakeries, and the Irish club and only a 5 minute drive to most attractions.
The cottage’s are very quiet and private and Darren the manager is fantastic.
We will definitely be staying again

We bumped into Kidd Street Cottages for a last minute stay and can’t believe how lucky we were. The cottage was perfect for our relaxing stay on Tamborine Mountain, a nice size so you don’t feel cramped, well appointed and comfortable. Nice touch to provide bacon and eggs, juice, milk, wine etc to get you started on arrival. Darren’s service was great, checked whether we needed anything without being obtrusive. But the very best thing is the location - several good restaurants within an easy walk, including what we consider the best restaurant in Tamborine Mountain - Three Little Pigs. Will definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation.

We stayed 3 nights in Kookaburra cottage, what a beautiful little cottage. Darren was very pleasant. The cottage was very clean and so quiet but so close to eateries. There was a plate in the fridge with Tim tams, jam, Vegemite and few sachets of butter as well. Darren also put a bottle of wine in our cottage as we booked for 3 nights and he kindly swapped white for red wine. It was so lovely sitting on the deck in the afternoon. There is a heated towel rack in the bathroom which was very handy as the weather was a bit cool. Undercover parking was a bonus. There are 3 cottages on the property.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place. The hosts a thoughtful and lovely and the cottage is everything you could wish for, filled with everything that you will need - high quality cooking and eating utensils ,glasses etc with thoughtful touches everywhere - chocolates, coffee pods for the nepresso machine , flowers etc. The bed and pillows were just so wonderfully comfortable . Will go back again and stay longer than two nights. The fireplace was both charming and extremely comfortable during a major cold snap. Couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommended Gorgeous!!

Located only a few minutes walk away from Tamborine North village yet felt like we were out in the country. It was very quiet and private. We stayed in Blue Wren cottage which is the biggest and very spacious. The outside deck was great to relax on, take in the beautiful gardens and listen to the birds. We will be back in winter to fire up the log burner. Wi Fi and Netflix were excellent. Hard to find on the mountain. Darren was friendly and helpful!

We stayed here for my wife's birthday. We booked all 3 cottages. All I can say is wow. We spend a lot of time relaxing in front of the log fire. The hosts had thought about everything to make our stay most enjoyable. If you get the chance make sure you stay here.

These cottages are the best one could expect plus more. We had the pleasure of staying four nights in the Kookaburra Cottage. The hosts had thought about everything to make our stay most enjoyable. Those little sweeteners, and Breakfast treats were lovely. Didn't want to leave as the hosts Ian and Val were so knowledgable of the area Thanks Guys, all the best.....

As part of a 10 day holiday in Queensland we decided to visit and stay on Tambourine Mountain for the first half of our trip and and it was a brilliant decision. Although the weather was stormy for the first day, it was beautiful and mystical. It was like living in a tropical rainforest in the clouds. We stayed in the Blue Wren Cottage and it was just lovely. It has a large seperate room for the children in which a double and single bed were available. The main area of the cottage was a comblned living room (with large flat screen TV), dining room and kitchen and enough space for a double bed. It also had a large verandah at the back from which you could step down into a beautiful tropical garden. The cottage was quaint, pretty and very homely and it had all the conveniences we expected. The cottages are located within walking distance to cafes, a bakery, newsagency and a supermarket. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Blue Wren cottage at Mt Tambourine and were sorry to leave.

Beautiful self contained cottage, close to all facilities. Has its own full kitchen, with a BBQ on the back veranda. The cottage we stayed in also had a garden setting, so you can sit and enjoy the gardens and the wild life that come to visit.

This is a wonderful, wonderful place for a calming, romantic getaway. It's not big or pretentious like some luxury hotels, but instead manages to envelop you in the magic of the natural surroundings. Thanks again to lovely Gloria and John for having us, see you again very soon. Love Bernadette

I am sorry but we do not allow pets in any of our cottages. I think there may be some accommodation on the mountain that will accept pets.
