Set back from the main road, these quiet, self contained cottages are just like the pictures! The hosts were very obliging and have paid attention to the little touches that make a stay special - from complimentary bath salts for the HUGE double spa bath and Tim Tams to have with your local Tamborine Mountain plunger coffee, to bath towel heating racks and bathroom light heat lamps with pre cut firewood and the fire ready to start to keep you cosy on those cool nights. The only thing missing is a laundry washer/dryer in the cottage - but, despite the spacious layout, there isn’t really room for one. Be warned that the path to the cottages is not paved so travel light - Gary will kindly help carry bags tho. The path is also not under cover out to the car park so if it’s likely to rain on arrival/departure, have those large umbrellas handy! There is an accessible cottage closer to the car park though, for those less able. You’re not walking distance to town/shops so be sure to have your car to explore the amazing region. A great view awaits at the restaurant across the road (closed Mon & Tues), but with a fully self contained cottage, enjoy your own meals looking out over the avocado orchard! I hope this review helps, pls let me know with a like if it does :)…
The room was perfect! All the little touches like the milk in the glass bottle, the chocolate, robes and beautiful toiletries made this stay special. Sitting on the balcony in the morning amongst the avocado trees is stunning. We’ll be back 😊
We enjoyed our cottage stay. The studio layout is very spacious and well-appointed. The woodfire was a bonus for winter nights - first night needed a little help from the efficient heat pump, but the fire was all that was needed to be toasty for the remaining two nights. The furniture was well-thought out with a spacious couch, dining table and a large and very comfortable bed. A big TV on a swing mount was great for viewing flexibility and the internet/wifi setup was particularly good. We found the location of the accommodation was fine, and in any case most activities on Tamborine Mountain require driving to that location by car. Although there were other guests, we though that the cottage had good privacy and we did not hear noise from anyone else. We discovered that the good size kitchen had a microwave, but not an oven which needed to be considered for dining in options. While it was interesting to have locally sourced coffee for the plunger, it would also have been nice if there was a Nespresso machine option. All told, we would certainly recommend staying at Camelot Boutique Accommodation. While the rate is a bit expensive, there were no shortcomings with our experience.…
The Cottages are excellent and well appointed. The surrounding gardens are private and beautiful. Its a delightful place to stay. Natalie does a superb job making up her delicious Breakfast Hampers, with generous servings for 2 people. Garry is a lovely fellow and cannot do enough to please the guests. Wished we could have spent more time there and the surrounding district. We will come back again
Very clean cottage, Everything you can want on your stay, Large accommodation Friendly Owners well keep property Close to some great placers to tour and eat out with some of the best views. And only a short drive from Brisbane.
We spent 6 nights in one of the gorgeous cottages and really enjoyed our time there . Set well back from the road and surrounded by avocado trees the cottage was very clean , comfortable and tranquil . Sitting on the deck all we could hear were the birds. The owners Natalie and Gary were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . Congratulations to you both on the way you handled the power cut so well !! The property is in a brilliant position and everything you could need is close . We recommend these cottages without hesitation and will certainly stay again .
The Queen Room was large, comfortable and clean with enough space to move around. It included all needed amenities plus the use of an outdoor BBQ space. The deck overlooks a lush garden, and you’re free to roam through these. The option of ordering a breakfast basket or picnic dinner is also a bonus.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Camelot. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable in a beautiful and peaceful setting .. and dare we say, surrounded by very nice ‘shrubbery’. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful and generous touches. Natalie and Gary are terrific hosts and provide a welcoming home away from home. We look forward to returning.
Natalie & Gary are the most friendly hosts. We had an overnight stay in a luxury cottage with spa & wood stove. Everything was just perfect, not a thing that we could think of was not supplied, even down to a complimentary Lindt chocolate The wood was even stacked ready to light & Natalie told us we could wander around the property & collect the avocados for our own use, as well as having complimentary ones in our cottage. As I was celebrating a birthday a large box of yogurt, fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, orange juice was left for us in the fridge to cook in the morning & enjoy on our deck. Overnight was not long enough. We thoroughly recommend Camelot Boutique Thank you so much to Natalie & Gary
When we arrived at Camelot we instantly knew we were were about to immerse ourselves not only in luxury but in the little/ big things that make a difference to a getaway! We were met by the owners Natalie and Gary who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had booked a cottage and were escorted to paradise! The accommodation was quite large with a natural wood burning fireplace, a kitchenette with everything and a spa equipped bathroom. The spa is huge and deep sided. The king bed was so comfortable I could have slept well into the next morning. However, I didn’t want to as Natalie and Gary had given us the run down on lots of activities to fill our days. The grounds are beautifully kept with a magnificent view from the lounge area. There are huge avocado trees covering the property and lots of lovely colourful flowers. It is so quite and there is a vast array of wild bird life. When you enter your cottage the fire is set and ready to light, there is a chocolate waiting for you and fresh flowers for you to admire. I can not praise Camelot highly enough and would recommend it with the outmost confidence that it will live up to your expectations…
