Just celebrated my wedding at Cedar Creek last weekend. The staff were incredible and could not have done any more for us our or family during the stay. They took care of all my guests amazingly and were great at helping out with the small details- like fixing a sign we had

We would like to thank this guest for her lovely review. It's important to us that our wedding guests have the most memorable event that we can possibly deliver. Teddy and Monica are both committed wedding specialists and it's very much appreciated when they receive a public endorsement, like the one you have given, for the great job they both do. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Firstly if you are intending to spend some time at Thunderbird Park and immediate surrounds with the kids, there is some merit in staying in one of the lodges. However the overall ambience and experience of the lodges in particular leaves a lot to be desired. From the uneven and

This guest's comments about the kettle, driveway and lighting have been taken on board. There is lighting in the car park, so I will investigate whether the timer was malfunctioning. We normally receive good comments about our toilet paper, as its fibre comes from sources that are environmentally managed. I'm not sure why you had a disabled room - it can only be because we were fully booked. I will check with our receptionists to ensure that guests are made aware that the room is configured for easy access of wheelchairs etc. It's disappointing your experience did not meet your expectations as that is the last thing we would ever want.

Beautiful and scenic space/room. Main bedroom looks over the creek. Bit of a mix up at check in. Had requested two singles in second room and a rollaway for an extra person which hadn’t been organised. Was quickly fixed though once mentioned. Disappointed that the horses were

It was lovely that you enjoyed staying in one of our 2-bedroom Creek Lodges. Their location is fabulous. Also reading that your enjoyed some of our activities was great. Hopefully you'll return when it hasn't been raining and all the horse tracks will be open!

For starters. This lodge is quite a distance from the main town so expect to drive. It has poor signage got lost twice. First missed the turnoff from the highway then trying to locate the reception area. Very average rooms for the price. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, the

We are disputing this review with Trip Advisor as the matter of poor signage no longer applies. It relates to a guest's experience 9 months ago and should have been written closer to that time. Our request to Trip Advisor follows: "This review is relating to signage from June 2018; however it was only recently written in March 2019. Our signage was all updated in August 2018 and our drop box will provide the evidence of the quality signage on and off our property. Furthermore, all guests are sent an email prior to arrival, even in June 2018, asking them to follow the signs to Thunderbird Park, as Cedar Creek Lodges is located inside the park. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i9c5fm3b25hak3w/AADbgKYqOMQlPsHzU2oOkajBa?dl=0" In relation to the comment about the shower, we have forwarded these to our Housekeeping Manager. Having said that, all of the Premium Rooms - which we believe this review is referring to - have undergone significant maintenance in late 2018 and, any issues dating back 9 months, no longer exist. Our Pest Control Contractor fumigates our entire property at the beginning of every season, however it is impossible to guarantee that there will not be a cockroach that will fly into a room. It was regrettable that there was a cockroach in this guest's room and naturally we would prefer it, if this had not been the case. We apologise for this guest's restaurant experience, especially as it was her birthday. This incident is one we would never like to have reoccur, however I was pleased to read that she received a complimentary dessert in compensation. Our current wait staff are fabulous and they receive many great reviews about their service, as do our chefs regarding the quality of our meals. Finally, the comment about "there wasn't enough parking for the amount of lodges" is incorrect. There are 29 rooms in this complex (known as the Hillside Lodges ) and there are 29 parking spaces, all of which are numbered. If another guest had parked in this guest's car space, we needed to be told at the time and then we would have quickly rectified this situation Thank you for your positive comments about the food being tasty and our daily room service.
