We were booked to stay in The Administration Cottage early in January 2024. Unfortunately, the property at Mt Tambourine was damaged during the storms and we were unable to stay. The communication from the owners during this time of uncertainty was excellent even though they were without power, water, and telecommunications was intermittent. The refund was handled without an issue. We cannot speak highly enough of their service during very trying times. We will not hesitate to book in with them in the future should the opportunity arise.

This was our 2nd lunch at Mason Wines Restaurant and as with the first was great. Dinah was welcoming and very efficient within her position. The meals were just delicious and made us want more. We had a bottle of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc the nectar of the gods just so fresh. We like to go during the week as not so busy and would recommend for anyone wanting a great day out to try.

We had lunch for 5 on Easter Saturday. We were met warmly and shown to our comfortable table with a lovely view of the Tambourine area. We enjoyed some beautiful crash entrees - home cooked bread, burrata, a beetroot salad, smoked salmon and duck spring rolls!! Lovely.for main course we enjoyed confit of duck, home made gnocchi and beef cheeks! All washed down with a 2016 Masons Chardonnay. Great service. We had a fantastic lunch thanks highly recommend.

Drove up to Tamborine for a day trip from Cabarita after 6 days of constant rain on the Gold Coast/ Northern Rivers. We were served with a very knowledgeable waiter. Pulled pork with pea salad was very good. Great location just off the main road.

Fantastic experience at Mason Wines for wine tasting followed by lunch. We felt that COVID protocols were being very well managed which made our visit far more enjoyable. We were able to do our wine tasting on a table on the lawn under a large umbrella and then for lunch in the restaurant we had a table on the deck which was well distanced from nearby tables. Staff service and knowledge of their wine and meals was excellent. Lovely food and great experience- thank you!

With families on Gold Coast & Brisbane, 7 of us met for Sunday lunch...my second visit a little disappointing...the setting is beautiful, everyone enjoyed the wines especially the Verdelho & Picnic Red, the meat eaters loved the beef cheeks, the mushroom risotto was a bit fluffy, lamb ok, I brought a small gluten free, flour free sugar free chocolate birthday cake for Grandpa 78 who has specific dietary needs ...the next minute this angry waitress came over, with the spiel about a cake fee etc ...we didn’t have a problem with a cake fee but this was never explained calmly...she was quite rude...sadly her abrupt manner spoilt my lunch with my family...

We dropped into Mason wines yesterday (a Friday) and we’re so glad that we did. Chris was fantastic with the tastings, I loved his honestly. And I liked the wine so I bought a couple of bottles. The lunch was delicious with a beautiful view. I had the pork belly and white chocolate creme brûlée (so good). The staff at the restaurant were friendly and brought a good vibe to the place. Couldn’t fault the place.

Chris, Marcus & team were fantastic for our big family get-together staying in their 2 houses, enjoying the restaurant, and wine tasting. We had family with very young kids to primary aged and adults and mature aged from Canberra, Brissy & the Gold Coast - we all had a ball! So many wonderful local attractions for all ages (the rainforest canopy walk is a must-do!), the small town had a wonderful buzz Friday night, and the wine tasting, restaurant lunch and views, and size and comfort of the 2 houses was great! Every window of each house had tree and country views. The staff are super busy but love what they do, and you can’t help but relax with the beauty of the area and classic features. The food is 5 ✨ and wines are incredible! 2 days and nights felt like 4. Well done and thanks - our families loved it!…

As my title says this just the perfect Queensland location meaning it is relaxed, outside (if you choose) sunny with family involvement. Thoroughly recommend for wine, food, buffs and also good for party groups ( they separate ) you must visit. Hard to recommend a menu item as the chef is constantly on the move.
