The Manor was a welcome find for a two night stay. The rooms are not your standard hotel/motel room and have some old-world charm. They are quite spacious with a generous bathroom area, elevated main bedroom area and a sunken lounge/living room (with foldout bed) and doors opening on to a little veranda area. The entrance in to the hotel building is stylish with a sweeping staircase, the property itself is quite historic in terms of being one of the original dwellings in the area. The facilities include a pool and a tennis (pickleball?) court. We enjoyed a nice breakfast one morning at the restaurant.
For something with a little more character than your typical hotel room, The Manor is a good -value option that doesn't disappoint.

We booked late when we had an issue with other accommodation and needed somewhere in an emergency. We were really lucky to find The Manor!
Our rooms were huge, with a big bed, nice bedlinen, and a sofa area too.
It was very quiet - no noise from other rooms - even though it was very full.
We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that, but it certainly made for a lovely couple of days for us.

Lovely stay in this welcoming old-world venue, with an excellent location. The original Manor with an amazing history of being one of the first inhabited properties in the locality, continues to remain part of the overall Manor, with Cafe, Bar, Indoor and outdoor eating areas as well as a restaurant. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There is a swimming pool along with a tennis court. The rooms themselves are more in keeping with a suite. An open fireplace, four-poster bed and large dressing area adjacent to the bathroom facilities, added greatly to the comfort. Free parking and Wifi on site. Food was delicious, well presented and timely. The host and hostess went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. There three nights, and won't hesitate to go back.

The Manor is well located close to most of the touristy shops at Tamborine Mountain. Staff were friendly, attentive and proactive in their service e.g. the restaurant wasn't open for dinner so they offered to provide local recommendations.
Due to staffing there was a limited menu for lunch and what we ordered was ok but on a quality/quantity/price perspective, it was disappointing. However the beer was nice and cold.
The Manor really is a lovely old building with lots of character and worth a look.
What concerned me however was the bedrooms, which although well set out and beautiful, with a strong smell of mold when we first entered the room. The source was the ceiling in the bathroom which was flacking and lots of black mold which I believe could be a health risk - noting my wife is asthmatic,

The hotel is quirky and if you are expecting 5stars it isn't for you.
You check in at the restaurant area and the accommodation is located down a path behind the main building.

The Victorian room I stayed in is very pretty and comfortable. I liked the extra space with the sitting room. The room was very clean and the MOR toiletries were a nice touch.
There is a small fridge and kettle with tea and coffee.
It would be great if thete was a microwave or some sort of communal kitchen as things close very early on the mountain or aren't even open on some days.
The restaurant was closed when I stayed. It would have been nice to have a drink and something to eat.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the balcony or check out any of the other facilities due to the rain and wind.

The bathroom is functional but could do with a facelift as there is paint peeling and it needs a bit more ventilation to stop the mould on the roof.

The location is fabulous across from the brewery and a short walk to the gallery. It was very quiet and I never heard any other guests.
I would stay again as it is very reasonably priced compared to other accommodation.

This was our second stay and once again, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Huge rooms with a sunken lounge area and spotless.
Very comfortable beds.
The rooms have air con and even a gas fireplace.
Very nice restaurant on site although, closed due to the current health situation.
Meals can still be prepared and eaten in your room.
Fantastic breakfasts.
Extremely close to the main tourist spots.
A very pleasant comfortable place to unwind.
The only thing missing is foxtel / Netflix.
The hosts are attentive and informative.
Will stay again for sure.

Gardens are Beautiful and well maintained, Pickle Ball Courts & Pool great. Rooms are very tied and bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation, linen was clean our bed needed the mattress replacing. Even though they advertise that they are open for Breakfast & lunch every day they weren't, blaming the lack of a Chef, surely anyone can cook breakfast. We had friends who stayed for a couple of nights after us 4 and the restaurant was closed on the Friday night. Unfortunately you have just lost 6 people who will not be stying again. It is disappointing because we have all been staying there for over 15 years apart from the last 4 years due to illness and then COVID and have had some great memories.

I really wanted to like this place, I really did, but unfortunately there were too many negative things that made our stay less than optimum.
I can forgive a large sign at the entrance that is tatty and even many old cobwebs at the checkin desk, however when we walked into the entry of the accommodation block were were confronted with two big piles of bags of dirty linen. Initially thought that it was a bit unfortunate that we had arrived before housekeeping had finished for the day, however these two piles remained there throughout our stay.
The other major turnoff was that the building and our room was COLD. Sure, it was the middle of winter, but the front door was left open throughout the day and there was no heating at all despite an open fireplace that would have added much to the ambience but was never lit during our time there. We also just could not get warm in our room, with strong drafts making the RCAC and the electric heater ineffective. The bathroom was icy.
That said, The Manor was quirky and “olde world”. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our visit, we had been looking forward to lunch and dinner at the place. Not much midweek choice for dinner at Tambourine Mountain during our stay.
The Manor is in an excellent location at one end of the shopping strip and across the road from the brewery. What we paid represented good value, and without the above faults I would have given 4 stars.

A perfect few days midweek at this gorgeous mountain top hotel. Fabulous food, staff and owner family.
Scenery to die for.
Valentine’s night dinner a total success and they even had to turn people away! Fabulass bar service too and Shae, thanks for the Bloody Mary taste test lol
Dennis and his family MAKE this place.

We had a rainforest view from ground floor. Next time will try upstairs tho. Views brilliant.

Lovely bathroom amenities and we both loved the olde world charm and history. Thanks Mrs Curtis Lol

Rooms were large and Altho old charm, were well appointed. Quiet place to be. No yobbos thanks lol

We had a breakfast, a lunch, and a Valentine’s dinner and won’t fault anything crept for the meringue which was a little chewy.

A teeny tiny thing was our mattress seemed a little flat and didn’t give much support. But overall, if that’s all we could gripe about, then we don’t mind.

Thank you to Dennis and his family for making US feel a part of it.

Check out the kookaburras and Currawongs too. Just amazing birds. The sounds of the rainforest are amazing.

Couldn’t have wanted anything more....cept perhaps we could all have done without the Curtis Falls flooding further down the mountain.

Don’t miss the Gallery walk and also the Fortitude Brewery and cheese shop. Amazing beers, lunch and souvenir cheeses there.

Also a shout out to Fudge Heaven and the vodka distillery further down the road. The Manor is the best place to base yourselves for all around the mountain and for easy walks to souvenir shops and tracks alike.

See you next time guys xx

Visited on a Tuesday for lunch and greatly enjoyed the $10 roast with Yorkshire pudding. Also the waffle dessert was yum. Historic place to dine with lovely ambiance. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
