Attentive (ish) staff, nice pub grub in quiet location. Not been here for some time, and it has changed hands a few times, but still good value and serves decent pub grub in a Gamekeeperesque location.

A wee weekend stay with my husband. The room was clean, warm and large with an ensuite. We ate in the in house restaurant, the food was very nice and they even did smaller portions. We walked down the Stanley Mills and enjoyed the views. The staff were also very nice. I would have no hesitation in staying over again,...

Lovely oldy worldly hotel. Offering a warm room with a fabulously comfortable bed and crisp linen. The food looked good in the restaurant and it had a very friendly bar and staff, if your in the area it's definitely worth a visit 👍😊

I'm writing this review as I finish my wonderful breakfast at the Tayside. Full cooked breakfast - made to my list of choices from the menu and not what someone else dictates a cooked breakfast should be! Best way I think. My dog (Tj) and I arrived last night and were greeted warmly. I checked in and headed straight to...

The Tayside Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area in the village of Stanley, about 6 miles/20 minute drive from Perth town centre. It is a grand Victorian building with approximately 14 rooms. Decoration throughout is in keeping with the period features and the rooms are warm, clean and cosy. There is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor where...

Well, we live in the village so this Hotel and restaurant are important to us. Staff were well overworked but do you know what , they handled it really well. The restaurant business is a tough world now with the new licensing laws in Scotland and the continuous rise in the basic wage with no corresponding reduction in taxation for...

I booked a family room for my wife and two daughter and the price was great. The family room was excellent with everything you needed with lots of space and proper beds. This hotel oozed old world charm and character and what a pleasure to have a proper cooked to order breakfast, porridge and kippers... lovely.

Just home after a wonderful 4 night stay, the owners and ALL the staff were so helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough to make me and my wee dog feel welcome. The breakfast menu was so varied, a great choice and ALL food cooked to order. The bar meals were delicious and again cooked to order. A typical old Scottish...

This was a last minute find on our way north. We had twin and double both very well furnished, clean, roomy and comfortable with a few little extra touches of tissues and bottled water. Added bonus is they take dogs. There is a great walk too from the bottom of the road about half mile and it brings you back...
