We loved this place. We were a group of 5 staying for one night. Our hosts Ciaran and Muiread were delightful, so helpful and obliging. Muiread is also an exceptional cook and our evening meal was a highlight of the stay. Breakfast was a wonderful feast too with a wide choice of options. The house is an imaginative combination of...

Thank you Mark T for such a lovely review. I had asked Ciaran to leave the last of the brussel sprouts on the stalk so that I could have the last of the vegetables for your meal and the delight was that when he brought them into the kitchen they were frozen!!! We did enjoy the house party and the...

We booked a night here as a last minute get away to see the Autumn colours in the Builth Wells/Elan Valley area. From the minute we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Muiread & Ciaran. The room was lovely and cosy with everything we needed, including some home made Welsh cakes which were delicious. A nice soak in the bath,...

I had a relaxing and comfortable stay over two nights with an evening meal on one night (ate out with friends the other night). Putting it simply, the reviews were spot on, indeed the...

Not only was the accommodation exceptional, but Ciaran and Muiread are exceptional people! We sincerely recommend that you don't go any further than the dining room for your meals (tarragon gnocchi in clarified butter, anyone??), or further than the living room for a glass of something and some fabulous conversation. They're charming, and they did everything possible to make our...

A fantastic location for a quiet get away. A warm welcome with everything you need provided. The room was bright and clean with a very comfy bed. The breakfast menu had a huge choice cooked to perfection with home grown produce. Highly recommended
