Just returned from 2 weeks in this hotel that would be lovely except for how badly it is run. I read the previous reviews just before going and as i am an optimist thought it couldn't really be that bad. IT IS. everything previously said is true but some things are worse. Breakfast came under cling film and was put...

My wife and i went there some years ago and found the hotel superb, we came home wishing we could buy the place and turn it into a home. To hear the call to prayer drifting across the valley was haunting, the view down to the town and harbour superb, the staff great and the rooms cleaned and tidied everyday...

We choose this hotel for a visit in September 2011, because it was small and fairly exclusive (we are not snobby, but prefer to to go to hotels which have loads of children) and looked really pretty in the brochure. Unfortunately the hotel is not 'as advertised', There are very few staff, no meals have been served there for a...

While on holiday in Kyrenia we decided to visit a few other hotels as to give a first impression of what we thought they were like. This is a small charming hotel only a few minutes walk from Bellapais Abbey a couple of great restaurants. As the hotel was allmost empty when were given a guided tour of all the...

We had a lovely holiday at the Abbey Inn due to its wonderful location and the beautiful Cyprus weather but felt we were deceived by our travel agent as to what to expect. Yes, there is a restaurant, but it hasn't functioned for several years, yes, there is a poolside bar but with no drinks or staff to service it....

Wonderfully located with good facilities and helpful staff, this hotel claims to be a Boutique Hotel but does not meet the mark. There is insufficient attention to detail - a boutique hotel will have a spotless shower and toilet unit - not so here. It would provide services it claims - a restaurant - but in this case, its not...

We spent two weeks in this small 'boutique' hotel recently. It is a small gem (or rather could be), the Savoy group (who own 4 hotels) do not appear to be concerned about the small Abbey Inn (and Residence over the lane). Our room was large with a very comfy bed, very large balcony , lovely view, clean sheets and towels...

Although I cannot dispute the previous Fawlty Towers comments nevertheless I think this and the Residency have great potential. They have recently been taken over by the Savoy Group and if they get these hotels organised they will be excellent as they are in a lovely setting. Although one had to wait for breakfast it was very good when it...

The pictures and brochure can only be described as a work of fiction. Luckily for us couple by the pool had to go...
