Second time we've been and absolutely love it. Approx £20 per night for camping - which includes indoor heated swimming pool - outdoor pool with slides, kids clubs - trampolines, bouncy castles, cheap bike hire. Toilets and shower block are immaculate. Nice shop on site. Really couldn't rate this higher.

Visited for a week and stayed within one of there own chalets. Excellent site very clean and tidy and very helpful staff. Well sited in a very rural area so everywhere is a bit of a drive away but easily done as the roads were very quiet. Close to lots of chateau in the area which I have reviewed separately....

We stopped over at Village Parc du Val de Loire for just 2 nights, after travelling up from Aquitaine. It was fine, a good based to explore the Loire. We went to Chaumont-s-Loire for some local cheer, charming it was too. First time in this part of the Loire, it never fails to please...

Just returned from a two week holiday to France and stayed 5 nights at val du loire. What a great site for families, many facilities for kids with bouncy castles and trampolines all free. Pool area was great a little on the small side but was never to crowded and they even put on a night time pool party which...

We have just returned from a weeks stay on a 4 star pitch in our family tent. The check in was quick and simple, reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. The pitch was huge and had plenty of shade which was needed in the 35 degree heat. We were able to rent a really good sized fridge for...

Our first visit to this site, only spent 3 nights with my husband and our two kids aged 9 and 12. All had a very relaxing time. We stayed in the Premium area which was very nice and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wifi was limited to 2 devices and only one could be logged in at a...

A week away in the Premier section in this lovely campsite. The accommodation was clean and functional. The shower was enormous but the compromise was a very small toilet with the brushes, mops and the fuse board which buzzed . With weather around 37 degrees we spent most of the time out on the amazing decking. It is part covered...

We've just come back from a 2-week stay at this campsite with our trailer tent. We booked a premium place and it was very nice and spacious. The toilet block was spotless and we saw cleaners there several times a day for long periods of time. They never closed off the block, which I think is a big plus, but...

I have never written a review of anywhere I have stayed before on here or anywhere else, but we have just had such a wonderful time at Parc du Val de Loire I feel compelled to do so! It really is such a lovely campsite. It has everything you need for a family especially with younger children. The 3 rose...

Stayed 2 nights there at premium pitch in motorhome. Overall impression is positive though the site looks bigger then the facilities ... Small pools, not enough public space, tight space in the bar and restaurant etc So, if you like when it is a bit packed the rest will be just perfect ! Overall pros (+): - loire valley is...

“Check the site plan online and request a pitch number. Some pitches were very small. All the serviced pitches are a good size.”

“Some of the pitches near the entrance are small and noisy. Would recommend the 3 star pitch.”

“Contact the Campsite before booking your holiday to ensure you get a good pitch. There are a few bad ones but most are good, however, in high season everyone needs to go somewhere and you may get the short straw!!”

“Simply ask what equipment is supplied. There are sunny plots ,shady plots and dense wooded plots. Stipulate which you prefer. No plots are really near enough to bar/ restaurant, kids play areas etc to be a problem with noise, although it was a very quiet week or so when we were there.”
