This utterly charming place to stay is situated on the edge of a small village, within a countryside landscape of far reaching vines. Once the main dwelling of a vineyard itself, the house has been tastefully restored and decorated in typical French 'shabby chic' style by the current owners, and is set within mature grounds. The bedrooms are most attractive,...

We loved everything about this gem. It had been restored with style, preserving many original features. Our hosts and their daughter and dog extended an enthusiastic welcome and were able to recommend a great restaurant for the evening. The bed was luxurious and the bathroom and shower efficient and stylish. Downside is that the nearest restaurants are about 6 km...

The property is very interesting. Traditional, very well maintained and decorated with great taste. Our superior room was very spacious, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast is very complete. We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, excellent for spending the afternoon. There don't seem to be any restaurants within walking distance, but there are many starting as...

An old converted village farmhouse with beautiful grounds, somewhat off the beaten track, so a drive away from any restaurants and bars. The conversion is lovely with a choice of rooms ranging from the comfortable to the luxurious. The garden also boasts a swimming pool and the house has plenty of comfortable communal rooms. The location may be isolated, but...

We stayed here in July 2011 for three days, and found the location and accommodation perfect for our needs. It is quite isolated, being in a very small village with few amenities, and you do have to drive for a few minutes to find a restaurant, but there are some VERY good ones quite close - the owners are very...

We spent two nights in Clos Sainte Marie. 1) Nice bb but far from everything. No restaurants/cafés nearby. 2) The place is next to a busy road which is a little bit noisy. 3) Rooms are perfect but expensive. Furthermore, we were promised a suite with bathtub and we were given a (very nice) room with a shower. CCL: Nice...

The hotel is very nice and like a small little home at the country side. The lady in charge is very polite and very hospitable. One major problem with the hotel is the location since no restaurants are around, it is away from the river and all the attractions in the area nearby, so unless you have a car with...
