This was our second visit and the first under the new owners, the first was great even though it was in receivership at the time and was being managed by the liquidator. This time was even better the staff were great the manager John was excellent couldn't do enough for you as were all of the other staff. They have... More

Born and bred Territorian and had never been here. Always wanted to go! My partner surprised me with this getaway. To say nicely, we were both highly disappointed. Not worth the money my partner paid for the tiny, dirty room with hard as nails beds. You wouldn't be able to swing a cat in the room let alone have a... More

Amazing place. Great food, great staff & amazing views. Had a dip in the pool too. We boarded our boat here, also a must with Outback Floatplane Adventures on their Cat 5. Well worth the drive out from the city and a must visit if your in the top end.

Have been in the Top End since April, this was our first visit. It's the only place for us as a family you can get accommodation, go fishing and have a nice meal near the beach. It has everything you need, pool, BBQ area, pub, meals overlooking the water. You can hire the boats, camp, nice place to relax or... More

We have just stayed for 3 nights in a small, harbour view room. We weren't expecting anything fancy - which it isn't - and were grateful for fans and air-conditioning in the Darwin heat. Had a wonderful holiday fishing all day - we had our own boat with us - then getting the restaurant to cook our catch each night.... More

I am a local and was very disappointed in crab claw this time round. Crab claw has always had an excellent menu with a delicious feed, one I raved about to others. It has always felt like a getaway from darwin but unfortunately not this time. Good company with our friends was its saving grace. I've never written one of... More

Loved our weekend stay at Crab Claw island resort. I would highly recommend hiring one of their boats and going for a fish in the harbour. John and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. You must have a steak sanga at lunchtime... Yum. We stayed in a waterfront cabin which had a fantastic view from the balcony and its... More

We went for a family lunch, with the birthday girl coming by ferry and unaware that we had driven. The Fog Bay Road section of the drive was ok, but the last 16km of gravel road in to the resort was corrugated and dusty. The resort surrounds are made for fishos. Big rigs and boat trailers were everywhere. The camping... More

We were staying at Dundee Beach and decided to take a drive to Crab Claw Island Resort to check out with the view to a possible stay down the track. Did a spot of fishing with hand line from foreshore, had couple cold drinks and lunch. Wasn't sure what meals would be like as was a Monday, so not a... More
