i love the hotel because we can just go to and fro to dotonbori where you can taste the sumptous street foodi. I tasted the kobe beef which was so softe it melts in the mouth. It is also near the market where you can buy delicious food of Osaka. I tasted the sweet fuji apple, sweet huge strawberries and saw huge crabs. The rom was cleaned daily and room amenities were restocked daily too. The service crew were kind in assisting us.
Stayed in Room 1420, a Triple Non-Smoking Room. PROS: Location was awesome - less than a block away from Dotonbori. The room was clean and the Wifi was strong. One of our beds was a sofa bed, but felt comfortable. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room and free pajamas to wear. Free oolong tea, coffee, and orange juice offered on the 1st floor from 11am to 9pm. Use the Namba Walk (underground shopping center) to get from Nipponbashi Station near the hotel to JR Namba Station. CONS: Staff were strict on check-in time at 3pm, but willing to hold your luggage so you can go out while waiting to check in. Check-out time was relatively early, in my opinion, at 10am. It was difficult to step into the bathtub to shower because it was pretty tall. The view from our room was of some love hotels, if that interests you. Guests tend to hoard the free amenities offered in the lobby so there were a few times when items were out of stock. I guess if you have to grab them while you can!…
Compact modern Rooms, centrally located to Dotonburi and the Markets. Good room commodities to include comfy PJs (!) but very small bathrooms that didn’t smell very fresh during our stay-might have been as they were doing building work. But still a great convenient base from which to site see. For those wanting to use them - Laundry facilities available and well priced and fast but the drying facilities didn’t work well at all.
We stayed for 6 nights 7 days in this hotel. So, here are the things I like: 1. Perfect location- it's in the heart of doutonbori and close to practically everywhere! 2. Since the location is great, we got to save money and energy. We don't need to travel far to get to the places we planned to see. 3. The front desk are so helpful, especially in giving directions. 4. Check In and Out are such a breeze. Now for the things I don't like: Hard Pillows Not So Soft Bed A little dusty room I would say the room is too small but this is Japan, alright?
If you want to save time, money and energy, choose this hotel. This hotel is strategically located n Doutonbori. We usually spend a lot of time, money and energy in metro in Tokyo. With this hotel in Osaka, you get all the convenience. We had a hard time sleeping on our first 2 days as the pillows are not soft and bed is not so comfy. That's why I only rated 4. If location is your priority, this is it!
