We stayed for 2 nights while visiting Disney and enjoyed the convenience of being able to drop our bags off at the Welcome Centre to be sent to our room while we went to the park. We were travelling with 2 young children so being close to the parks and having free shuttles were nice perks for us. The rooms were nice and clean but the decor seemed dated. This hotel was also cheaper than the other Disney hotels so if convenience is important to you then this is a good option.

Booked this hotel for stay at Tokyo Disneyland. Easy access to Disneyland. All the staff are helpful. The price is good it was the most reasonable hotel in the area. Room was not Disney themed, but had a little bit a taste of it. We had a room with a view of the ocean. (opposite of Disneyland) There is a free shuttle bus to the parks (long lines to get on the bus early in the morning) - The breakfast place gets crowded early in the morning so you have to get up early to get in line if you rush to get the bus for entry Disneyland as soon as possible. The food was great. You can also purchase Disney merchandise at the gift store in the hotel. There is a convenience store where you can buy food and beverages I stopped by to buy snacks after returning from the park.

Very good price for a very good location, room is small but it’s comfortable for two. Specifically went for a hotel near Disneyland and there is bus services to and fro the airport, Maihama station and the amusement park. The breakfast is delicious with many varieties.
The staffs are kind and helpful. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel in the last week of our 3 week tour of Japan. It is very close to Dissneyland and one of the Disney preferred hotels, with bus access to the Disney enterance as well as Maihama JR station. We spent three days exploring Disneyland and Disneysea, then other days we were able to catch the JR train into Tokyo for sightseeing of Asasuka,Tsukiji Fish market,Rainbow bridge, the Maritime Museum,Yushukan War Memorial Museum, etc etc...When we first arrived we were too early to access our room so our luggage was stored for us and we decided to go sightseeing in Tokyo for the day, arriving back at our hotel at about 5pm to find our luggage ready for us. The service and kindness of the staff members made all the difference. Every staff member would acknowledge us and say hello, good morning or good afternoon as we passed them either in the corridor or at the desk. Our room was a good size (tripple room) with ensuite bath and shower, TV, fridge and tea and coffee making. We were given a voucher for meals (breakfast) and also a discount on the evening meals in the California buffet restaurant. We thought this hotel was great for us as it was close to Disneyland but also had the train access to do other sightseeing if you want to. I have recommended this hotel to others I know travelling to Tokyo and Disneyland and everyone has come back saying how they enjoyed their stay.

This is clearly a large and reliable hotel, popular with visitors to Disneyland. The property is very much geared up to the local market and signage in English is very limited. Consequently it is difficult to get the most out of the facilities if you are unable to read the menus or hotel literature. It's also worth noting that the rooms are laid out in Japanese traditional fashion, which extends to the bathroom also. WiFi is available for a fee. Being an official hotel, there is a frequent complimentary shuttle to Bayside station of the (chargeable) monorail. A similarly useful feature is the ability to drop off your bags at the Resort Gateway on arrival, leaving you free to enjoy yourself before arriving at the hotel in the evening. Cleanliness and service are fine. Staff are as helpful as is possible.

Shuttle bus to hotel, Tokyo Disneyland/ DisneySea and airport were convenient. The theme room was nice. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great with lots of variety. However, when we requested additional towel, it was not replaced after each clean up. Have to call room service daily for additional towel. Overall good hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, chiefly because we were visiting Disneyland and DisneySea Tokyo. We chose the standard quad/ family room and as expected, the room was really small, and more suited for two persons; we had to do some space gymnastics to fit in four suitcases and leave just enough room to get from each bed to the toilet. The toilet, however, was quite large by Japan standards! But since we were just using the room as a sleeping area, we were quite satisfied with the basic amenities provided. Breakfast was included in our package and it was quite nice to have both Western and Japanese dishes, but however, don't expect a fantastic meal as you are not there for the hotel but for the DIsney parks. The hotel /room was really clean and of course, the customer service was great. We liked the bentos and supper that was sold at the counter just outside the hotel's California cafe - great way to end your long day at Disney. Hotel was easily accessible to the two parks via shuttle and monorail, so no worries about getting to the parks on time.

There is NO REASON to stay here if you're not going to the parks. But if you are going to Tokyo Disney Resort, Sunroute is a good choice. (Note I have only stayed here, so don't have anything to compare it to.) We stayed on the castle floor which our 4-year old loved. (I also peeked in at the Frontier rooms, and they were also cool and very nice quality.) The rooms are big by Japanese standards, very clean and appeared newly renovated. Our daughter (100 cm height) actually slept on the little couch in the room with an extra blanket and pillow, which saved us from being cramped together in the single bed. (I did notice, however, futons under the bed - which are probably made up for larger families.) Staff people were nice and breakfast was included. I was surprised, however, how hard it was to get to/from Disneysea. There was a bus that went directly to Disneyland, which was great. But to get to Disneysea we had to take a bus, and then the monorail which charges Y260 per person. If visiting Disneysea only - another hotel might make more sense.

One tip - breakfast is VERY crowded in the morning because everyone is trying to eat and get to the parks before they open. Despite there being 4 breakfast options, plan for a 15-20 minute wait or get there super early. By 8:30 or so, the crowds have died down and you can go right in.

We like to make our Disney visits all day adventures but then feel exhausted carrying our sleeping kids home on the multi-hour excursion on crowded late-night trains afterwards. This time we decided to crash afterward at a nearby hotel and were happy we did. We price-shopped and found this to be the cheapest option for our family of four (with one child younger than 6, the age at which they can stay free).

We were set up in a frontier room, with three firm twin sized beds that left us all commenting the next morning on what a wonderful sleep we had. Also noticeable was the efficient organization and nice decor of the three separate spaces for toilet, sink, and bath/shower -- tiny by Western standards but a nice upgrade from the one in our apartment!

Before going to the Park, our first stop in the morning after leaving Maihama station was to go to the hotel (free bus to the hotel leaves every 20 minutes for the 5 minute ride either to the station or the Park entrance). The first floor seems to be always buzzing with activity, and the crying kids rejecting the ears that their moms seem determined to make them wear will prepare you for the Park itself, but despite the noise of the check-in area, the rooms themselves were very quiet. There are also several shops on the first floor, though we didn't partake.

We were able to check in, get our key, and leave our bags with concierge to deliver to our room later. We could not go to our room until 6pm, but we were not intending to return until after the Park closed and this allowed us to go straight to our room and avoid the queue waiting to check in at that time.

We had already bought our Disney tickets online but could have purchased them at the hotel at a special wicket -- one way to avoid the lines at the park itself. There was also a special takkyuubin delivery service counter for arranging home delivery of our suitcases or purchases if we had wanted that service.

The hotel package included breakfast in one of its three restaurants. We chose the buffet in the California restaurant because of its late 11am closing. There was a range of hot and cold items including cereals, soups, eggs, bacon, french toast, desserts, drinks, salads that should satisfy all tastes.

All in all, a pleasant stay and much preferred to carrying the kids home on the late evening trains.

I recently stayed and was pleased with the location, the room and the service. I would certainly stay there again. And if you wanted to, you can stay in the hotel and watch the Disneyland fireworks. It was a nice alternative to the other higher priced Disney hotels and less crowded too.
