An old hotel, but in a great location with lots of eateries and convenient store nearby. They even have free pillow rental whereby you can borrow a local branded pillow to test if that helps to improve your slip. Breakfast is affordable and delicious, enjoyed both the western and Japanese menu. Only issue I have is the sound proofing of the window, which you can hear alot of road noise.
And there is a laundry room which I utilize. 300 yen for washing and I spend 600 yen for 1 hour of drying which dries up my thick winter clothes nicely

Great little local hotel with friendly service, included breakfast and good sized rooms for a hotel only walking distance from Shinjuku station. The area has lots of food options and a plethora of public transport so easy to get to anywhere in Tokyo. Room was a good size, bed comfortable with a pillow menu if you needed it. Toiletries were supplied and the breakfast in the linked cafe was decent. Reception staff helpful and informative. Would recommend.

This is a very basic hotel in a what seemed to be a reasonably good location. We only stayed one night so i didn't fully explore the area. The rooms are small (as most are in Tokyo) and the bathrooms require you to 'step' into them. They remind me of a portable school classroom - it's as though they have wheeled them in and put them in a corner. After staying in Mimaru apartments in another area of Tokyo this felt old and small, however if you're low maintenance and happy with basics then I am sure you'll consider it to be fine. No issues with cleanliness and there is an onsite laundry.

Stayed for 3 nights in the quadruple room with my family of 4. Big-sized room, with 4 comfortable single beds by tokyo hotel room's standard, with ample space to fully open three large luggages, is really amazing to find. Nice, clean room, daily made. Front desk is always helpful and greets with a smile.
Location of the hotel is just superb, 5 minutes walk to shinjuku station west, well served by the airport limousine bus, JR line, and the numerous subways. Restaurants aplenty nearby, and there's a convenient store just next door.
Really love this hotel, for its people, room, location and great price too!

Second time staying at this hotel since 2019 and still a great hotel to choose to stay while in Tokyo. Good location with so many choises of restaurant and the convinient store just right next door and opposit only less than 10 min walk to/from the JR station and the Express train to Narita Airport. Great attentive staffs, clean rooms, fair size of room and amenities.

Kadoya hotel is really a value for money and a great hotel. It's walking distance from Shinjuku Station and there are many eatery around it. Not only that Kadoya hotel provides all the needs that we need ie vending machine, coin laundry that we can do in the building itself. The next door and opposite are all convenience store that you can buy things. It serves all the needs you need with a very reasonable price. They even have a free twisting egg machine for my children and they really have fun. I will come back again next time.

We have stayed in Shinjuku and across Japan numerous times. This is the worst hotel by far. The bathroom smelt like sewerage for the entire stay, the room layout did not maximize the minimum amount of space, there was hardly room for our luggage, staff are not very helpful, they do not offer any assistance with shuttles, the rooms were not clean and the bedding appeared old, worn and dirty. The good parts are the location (although next time I’d pay more the Kieo Plaza) and the fresh towels provided by house keeping each day (even when the do not disturb sign was on). By far the WORST part was the rooms on level 7 appeared to be rented “by the hour”. Women were constantly coming and going at all hours of the day, dropping and picking up keys. We know this as we couldn’t get a good nights sleep due to the terrible mattresses and pillows.

Room small but expected. Location to Shinjuku station is fantastic. Staff lovely. Room was unbearably hot even with the climate control being on as low as it could be, so I requested a fan for my room and it was brought up almost immediately. Lawsons downstairs and 7/11 just down the street. Airport Limo bus drops off and picks up from the New Keio Hotel which is just around the corner, so rather than lugging your luggage to Shinjuku and then on the Narita Express, consider the bus for either Narita or Haneda airports. If you don't plan on spending much time in your room, this is an affordable and very decent option. I'd have no hesitation staying here next time.

The short walk to Shinjuku station and direct train/bus to the airport and rest of the city makes the location very good. The rooms are small and we were a big group that found fairly poor cleanlyness in some of the rooms. The rooms are small but have what you need.
The price more or less reflects what you get.

We liked this hotel as it is close to Shinjuku station and has decent sized rooms for Tokyo. The room was clean and housekeeping was good with our bed sheets and towels replaced daily. They don't provide water but there are two convenience stores nearby where you can get your supplies. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

I would recommend to take the bus limousine if you're coming from the airport especially when you have big luggage with you. It's much easier route from Keio Plaza Hotel compared to the train station as you need to find the correct exit with lifts etc.
Once you dropped off at the Keio Plaza Hotel, go into the hotel all the way to the rear entrance and crossed the road. Walk straight about 100m or so and you'll find the Kadoya Hotel on your right.
As for the rooms, it's better that you email the hotel. They were rather prompt with their replies and the staff is well versed in English, to my surprise at a hotel of this size. Enjoy you stay in Tokyo!
