Kadoya hotel is really a value for money and a great hotel. It's walking distance from Shinjuku Station and there are many eatery around it. Not only that Kadoya hotel provides all the needs that we need ie vending machine, coin laundry that we can do in the building itself. The next door and opposite are all convenience store that you can buy things. It serves all the needs you need with a very reasonable price. They even have a free twisting egg machine for my children and they really have fun. I will come back again next time.

Stayed in a 4-single bedder. Room is clean and neat. Not very big space for 4 people. Suggest to bring smaller suitcases. USB port on every bed - thoughtful. Toiletries provided near checkin counter. Location is good; 5min walk to Shinjuku station. Near food streets. Convenient.

The Kadoya is brilliantly located and really good value. My room was small but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly with excellent English. A big thumbs up for this one. An absolute bargain.

Great location as always, within minutes from Shinjuku station and lots of restaurants nearby and a Lawson right beside the hotel. Great breakfast, with both Japanese and Western option. Only big screw up was that I was given a room that was not clean up. Imagine my surprise when I open the door and hear the sound of baseball and seeing a messy bed. But the staff quickly gave me a new room which I appreciate. I like their location and service so much that I will still stay with them the next time round.

Spent 9 days in May at Kadoya. The room was very clean and a decent size for Tokyo. It is close to plenty of places to eat, bars, convenience stores and a short walk Shinjuku Station. The staff were friendly and helpful

Second time staying at this hotel since 2019 and still a great hotel to choose to stay while in Tokyo. Good location with so many choises of restaurant and the convinient store just right next door and opposit only less than 10 min walk to/from the JR station and the Express train to Narita Airport. Great attentive staffs, clean rooms, fair size of room and amenities.

We liked this hotel as it is close to Shinjuku station and has decent sized rooms for Tokyo. The room was clean and housekeeping was good with our bed sheets and towels replaced daily. They don't provide water but there are two convenience stores nearby where you can get your supplies. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

4.5 stars! My spouse, son, and I have previously stayed at Kadoya in December 2019. I was delighted with our most recent stay in February 2023. Last time, I booked a triple bed room. This time I booked a "Fourth Standard - 2 king beds (Universal Design Type -B" room. What a terrific room. The tv set was massive! Even I had to grin at the size of the tv screen. There was a ledge behind the bed which was convenient to put cups on during our evening beverages. We also used the ledge to place our cellphones on overnight as they charged. Ample electrical plugs. The room has a small fridge to keep drinks cool. A microwave is located in the laundry room. The laundry room also has two washing machines and two dryers. All coin operated. There is also a vending machine in the laundry room. Handrails in the shower/tub of the bathroom much appreciated. Staff at Kadoya that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I requested front desk staff to kindly print out documents and they did so without hesitation. Housekeeping staff is friendly and promptly brought me towels and extra wooden hangers when requested. Daily housekeeping service. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash all had a pleasant fragrance. We were provided with feather-free pillows and feather-free duvets given our allergies. Room was clean. Ample space for 4 luggages. Excellent location. Close to Shinjuku station. Several dining options nearby. Pharmacy nearby. 24 hour Lawson convenience store next door. Another Lawson across the street. Travel tip: We arrived at Kadoya using the Airport Limousine Bus which departed from Narita. I chose the Keio Plaza Hotel instead of the Shinjuku stop as it is closer to Kadoya. Get off at the Keio Plaza stop and walk through the lobby. Leave the Keio Plaza hotel and walk 2 blocks to Kadoya. When going to Narita, in order to get to Narita quicker I booked the Airport Limousine Bus to depart from Shinjuku as the earliest bus leaving from Keio Plaza hotel was not early enough for me. Catch the bus from Bus Stop 23 located right in front of the Airport Limousine Bus ticketing office, to the left of Keio department store. Currently, Airport Limousine Bus routes and schedules are reduced. All in all a pleasant stay at Kadoya!

An old hotel, but in a great location with lots of eateries and convenient store nearby. They even have free pillow rental whereby you can borrow a local branded pillow to test if that helps to improve your slip. Breakfast is affordable and delicious, enjoyed both the western and Japanese menu. Only issue I have is the sound proofing of the window, which you can hear alot of road noise. And there is a laundry room which I utilize. 300 yen for washing and I spend 600 yen for 1 hour of drying which dries up my thick winter clothes nicely

Stayed for 3 nights in the quadruple room with my family of 4. Big-sized room, with 4 comfortable single beds by tokyo hotel room's standard, with ample space to fully open three large luggages, is really amazing to find. Nice, clean room, daily made. Front desk is always helpful and greets with a smile. Location of the hotel is just superb, 5 minutes walk to shinjuku station west, well served by the airport limousine bus, JR line, and the numerous subways. Restaurants aplenty nearby, and there's a convenient store just next door. Really love this hotel, for its people, room, location and great price too!
