Excellent stay at the Hilton Tokyo. Easy to reach via airport limousine bus from Haneda airport. Check in was quick and efficient with a nice upgrade with my diamond status to the 37th executive floor. The breakfast and cocktail hour were a delightful addition to the stay. Lots of options in a relaxed environment. Staff in the executive lounge was lovely and went above and beyond. On our last morning we could see Mount Fuji from our breakfast table which was a lovely surprise. Only critique was the downstairs lobby restaurant was buffet only during dinner time. We were looking for a small snack and a cocktail and couldn’t find that easily. The room was clean and comfortable. Very large by Japan standards. Had a modern and clean bathroom with a large shower. Overall, excellent stay and will stay again if I find myself in Tokyo.

Hotel's Favourite
Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku, this is our second trip to this cosy hotel. This trip in Jan 2024 was with the whole family of four. Plenty of people to thank and compliment. We met Jayde at the Marble Lounge for breakfast. He gave us good briefing of Japan's Culture and Places of Interest. I did not know that Japan celebrates the Year of the Dragon wef 01 Jan 2024. Japan celebrates the New Year from 01 to 03 Jan 2024. The mashed sweet potatoes with sweet chestnut and the bean's dish behind it at the buffet table were special dishes prepared to celebrate their New Year from 01 to 03 Jan 2024. Dynasty Restaurant at Level 2 is another place we must visit. Mr Shingo Arai and his team, Harune and others, gave us a Warm Welcome during their cold Winter. Food were delicious and reasonably priced. They also have special dishes and Special Set Meals during their New Year Celebrations from 01 to 03 Jan 2024. Concierge We were met by Alan (from USA) to handle the Check-in for us. Very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly like many of their staff. The concierge who greeted us upon arrival to the delivery of luggage to our room was very courteous and helpful. The group of Concierge who helped us on checking out of hotel, bringing the luggage downstairs and loaded them into our transport to airport were very helpful and friendly. Executive Lounge The staff there were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. This trip, I happened to have more interaction with Miss Jessy (a French lady) and Nirisha as they were on duty during my visit to the Executive Lounge. All the staff were well trained and friendly. You can just speak to any staff on duty during your visit. Housekeeping Met Mr Kasai Yukuse who provided us with the pillows we requested. Same quality, very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Airport Transfers Last but not least, even the Airport Transfers arranged by Hilton Hotel provided very good services. There was a female staff waiting for us at Haneda Airport Arrival Hall. It was so convenient to transfer from airport to Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku with their arranged transport and Help. The lady who met us at the Airport was very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. She even helped us by taking over the trolley of luggage from my daughter and pushed along to the pick up point. Thereafter, smooth ride to Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku.

I booked a King Deluxe room as a Hilton Gold Member. I got a pretty good rate on a points redemption. I was pleased to see the day before check in that I was upgraded to a King Executive room in the app. I utilized the shuttle from Shinjuku station to get to the hotel. The shuttle stops in front of the Keio Department Store and is obvious with black Hilton livery. This is a great and convenient amenity as the hotel is a bit of a walk from the main Shinjuku station if you have luggage. The Tokyo Metro Nishishinjuku station is close by but honestly I just used the shuttle everyday as it is convenient. Shinjuku is a great and happening location and I never wanted for something to do or see. I want to note that the hotel is next to a hospital so you’re going to hear the ambulance driving by quite often. Didn’t disturb my sleep but not great for Zoom meetings. On arrival staff helped with my luggage and I was checked in quickly and readily in English. The room itself is average sized by western standards which is big by Tokyo standards. The view was better than I expected. The building is on the older side which leads to my only real criticism. The lobby and public areas are nice but the guest floors and rooms feel like they could use a bit of a refresh. It’s a very minor point but this location seems to be Hilton’s main property in Japan and I want the absolute best for it. I enjoyed meals at the first floor restaurant and the executive lounge and both were honestly great. The price for this hotel can fluctuate and when it gets quite high it can approach the nightly rate at the Conrad Tokyo which is a superior brand in the Hilton portfolio. If choosing between the two I favor the Conrad. That said if you can lock in a good rate for the Hilton Tokyo I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was my first time staying at the Hilton Tokyo. Situated in Shinjuku, it's important to note that it's not in the immediate vicinity of the major shopping and attraction areas. Shinjuku station, for example, is a 20-25 minute walk away. However, the Hilton Tokyo offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Shinjuku station every 20 minutes, which is incredibly convenient for guests looking to explore the shopping district. During my three-day visit to Tokyo, I focused my activities mainly on the Shinjuku and Shibuya areas, and didn't find the need to utilize the subway, buses, or taxis, thanks to the shuttle service provided by the hotel. I appreciated being a Diamond member, as it led to an upgrade to the highest floor with access to the lounge. While the room itself felt a bit outdated, it was adequately equipped. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well during my stay, but having a bathtub in the room was a lifesaver. It allowed me to relax and unwind, ultimately aiding in a better night's sleep. As for the lounge and food buffet, they were satisfactory, though nothing extraordinary. Despite the minor shortcomings, I would still choose the Hilton Tokyo for its excellent shuttle service to Shinjuku station and the warm, welcoming demeanor of the staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really had a comfortable stay. We arrived a little earlier than the anticipated check in time and staff were very accommodating in having a room ready for us. They sat us in the Executive Lounge and were able to move into our rooms by mid day. We were even treated to some banana bread as part of our welcome. The room itself was very clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was a treat with both traditional Japanese and Western options. Comparing the main hall to the Exec Lounge, there were certainly a few more breakfast options in the former. I liked how it was conveniently located along the Marunouchi line. The train station has a dedicated exit towards the hotel. For those who find it hard to navigate the train lines, the free shuttle between the hotel and Shinjuku station is certainly another great option. Upon checkout, we left our bags with the concierge for a couple of days as we were venturing out the regional areas for a couple of days. They were kind enough to keep it on hold for us until we returned back to Tokyo - I reckon this is a major plus for those who want a travel a little lighter around greater Japan. As a loyal diamond member, I'd certainly return!

Stayed here 10 years ago, and pleased to find it was just as good, including the buffet which is really good. The highlight was the staff, including up at the executive lounge, who were lovely. Just as we were checking out there was an earthquake which shut down the lifts, so we needed to rely on the hotel staff to get all of our (many) bags down from the room so we could walk the stairs and get on with sightseeing, and the concierge staff were incredibly helpful in dealing with this situation so that we didn’t lose time on our last day in Tokyo.

My family and I kicked off our Christmas holiday at the Hilton and it was a great place to start. Check in was a breeze and we were able to get into our room as soon as we got there. Our room was clean and very large for our family. We were on a higher floor and the views were great. Throughout our stay, the staff was wonderful. Breakfast staff was always friendly and sat us promptly. Concierge was always willing to help with recommendations and our luggage transfer on the last day. But our best experience was with the crew at Junisoh on our second night. We had reserved a private room because we knew the kids would be out of it and right on schedule, they fell asleep about 10 minutes after food had arrived. The staff went out of their way and brought pillows and blankets so the kids could rest more comfortably and we could continue to enjoy the meal. Location of the hotel is wonderful too. Getting to the hotel is a breeze since the limo bus stops right at the hotel and while we wandered on our own, most of the larger tours also have a pick up at the hotel as well. Having the Marunouchi line access without having to leave the hotel was a huge plus as well. Overall, it was a great stay that was convenient for everything we wanted to do and our experience was very much enhanced by the quality staff that took care of me and my family.

My family enjoyed their stay as I spoke to them daily. The service is excellent, hotel clean and nice and it was near everything they wanted and had planned to do and the trip was not planned around the location of the hotel. They also appreciated the easy access to the trains which did not require them to go outside! I personally spoke with and coordinated a few things from the United States and everything was done perfectly and with little effort. I thank the team and everyone at the hotel as I could not have asked for anything better. Thank you so much!!

This was by far the most amazing experience I’ve ever had on an accommodation that made me proud to be a part of this business since I also operate a hotel and understand the logistics of what it takes to run such an elaborate operation. First off, there is much detail to the ambience as you feel the hospitality or “omotenashi" from your very first encounter when you arrive and even smell such an inviting scent in the air as you arrive. Not only are you greeted with respect you're treated like royalty throughout your entire stay. The breakfast was like a five star dining buffet with all the bells and whistles not to mention they had many other restaurants or bars on other floors in the lobby. There was live music played by real musicians on the second floor which tuned a melody throughout the lobby areas but did not interfere with any of the guest rooms. The experience was like no other and believe me I've stayed in a lot of hotels throughout Japan. If you're the type of person who wants to experience the best in class and service then this is the place for you.
