This is an amazing hotel which has been designed with the discerning traveller in mind. The attention to detail is unbelievable: sliding doors in the suite offer you a spacious feel, or equally privacy if you want to bathe quietly. We had a two room suite (room 4210) with breathtaking views across central Tokyo. One of the bedrooms had Mt. Fuji in the background, the master bedroom more towards Tokyo Tower. The panoramic view from the lounge area was simply amazing. The facilities in room are great: immaculate cleanliness throughout, private bathrooms, the master with a large bath. Electric blinds and blackout curtains meant that you could change to mood in the room very easily. Bright sun in the morning never penetrated the curtains and we were able to sleep in easily. The restaurant on floor 45 offered a fantastic breakfast with salads, home made pastries and eggs any style. There are a lot of staff and so we felt that we were treated very specially. The luggage/porter service was also great: we were able to leave our bags with ski gear in the luggage store, so did not have a room cluttered with endless bags.

The new hotel is clean and modern.

The lobby is high-rise, but the view is blocked in the middle, and it was a pity that there was dust on the multi-person table.

Still, I could see the fireworks festival in the sky review.

The amenity smell was good, and I felt like I was paying attention to the cleanliness of the room.

However, since it is a newly built place, it smells like new house syndrome a lot, so it will be difficult for sensitive people to walk in the hallway.

I don't know if it's because it's the Shinjuku Hanabi festival season, but I heard that I can't make a reservation for dinner with my child..(No Kids) There was no benefit for hotel guests who could not use room service.
I had to stand in line for dinner at a nearby restaurant..

But if you ask for a taxi on the first floor, they give you drinks and the staff are kind.

The most uncomfortable thing was
I had to go through the lobby and use the elevator... I think it'd be nice if I could go around directly!

Although it was far from Shinjuku Station, I was satisfied with the room condition and the service overall.

Until 2 nights, ok. If I stay with my family for consecutive nights, I think I will choose another place..

Incredible location, service, decor, size of space, view, and quality of food and drinks. Centrally located within Shinjuku, we were never more than 3-5 minutes away from places to eat, transportation, and entertainment. The Bellustar staff made you feel like a VIP at every touch point!! Would definitely return! Beautiful property and clean at every corner. Highly recommend the bar up top at happy hour! Drinks are amazing!
PS if management is reading this, what is that air freshener in the lobby floor? Love it!

Stayed at the Bellustar hotel for 6 Nights in a corner deluxe double room. The views in the hotel are absolutely impressive with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Tokyo and even to Mount Fuji. The Beds were comfortable. The only problems we had with the room is that there is no place to put the Tea Kettle, It had to go onto the floor if you wanted to use it and the wind can be quite loud when it hits the Hotel.

The real issue we had with the hotel was the impersonal service. The service was very off putting. No Hellos or Bows. I was ignored at reception (while the staff at the front desk talked to each other). I found the staff at the podium on the first floor to be arrogant, (No Hello, and if they did acknowledged you, It was, just are you a guest?) The staff didn't recognize my Discovery Pan Pacific membership on check-in, and I wasn't asked how my stay was when I checked out of the hotel, just if I had left the keys in the room? The concierge kept sending us to restaurants that she had obviously had never been to.

I would avoid paying for breakfast at the hotel. The menu options were limited and not very good.

The location of the hotel takes a completely different character at night and almost dangerous for Japan, especially around the 7-Eleven down the street where I was propositioned several times.

If views are important for you, this is your Hotel. Just don't expect 5 star service.

A new hotel opened in May. Services was excellent and all the furnishings were all very nice. The view from the room worth a million dollar. The hotel lobby was not what you expected, taxi can not drive all the way in front of the hotel. Most taxi drivers wouldn’t know how to turn into the hotel. I was told I can enjoy the high tea and cocktails at their penthouse lounge. I went up at 230pm, no one was there and they don’t have food. Unlike other hotel’s club lounges, which I was expected some sandwiches and scones, there were nothing. I didn’t bother to go for their cocktail as the staffs told me there also won’t be any canapés. Instead have a round of whisky at night at their bar…. Limited range and it’s strange that they charge mixed nuts at 1000¥. Most of the bar in hotel would offer some peanuts or chips complimentary.

Gym - well equipped and everything is brand new!

The breakfast last order was 930 which we almost missed it. I didn’t expect it to ends so early. It’s a set breakfast so the choices was limited.

Beside all these teething problems, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to stay with the hotel once all have been fixed.

This rather new hotel in the best location in Shinjuku offers gorgeous rooms on high floors of the Kabuki-cho tower. The decoration is very elegant, the hotel offers top 5-star comfort and its staff are of the best I have seen. The sushi restaurant is worth a visit as well. Incredibly good!

Great hotel stay, the location is prime and the hotel is brand new. Everything about the hotel is nice from the moment we checked in to the point we left the hotel. Restaurant views from the 45th floor was amazing for a nice clear Tokyo morning and the breakfast options in their second restaurant in the 17th floor was great. The view of Shinjuku at night with a ceiling to floor window is mesmerising.

Only issue we encountered was the AC unit in our room (4210) had a sound upon check in (you do check-in in the room). We mentioned this to the lady (Emiri) who helped us check in and instead of offering for the the issue to be followed up by maintenance or seeing if other units are available she kinda just shrugged it off and hoped we would suck it up. Which was the case we took since we travelled the whole day to get to Tokyo. Next day, no follow up about the AC and even after we mentioned this to the front desk no follow up was given and the sound was there throughout our stay. For a hotel charging this much, you would assume there was a follow up.

The Bellustar in Shinjuku, Tokyo is a hidden gem. I travelled with my partner for a holiday and stayed in the studio room. The room was big and had a great layout. The views of Tokyo city (four panels of windows) were incredible.

The service from ground level where the staff took your luggage to check in on the 18th floor lobby was as good as any luxury hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff ask for your preferred time for housekeeping and for turn down. The ratio of staff to guests was impressive, yet everything remained discrete and you were made to feel at home.

The bed, down pillows, linen and towels were all very comfortable.

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and would stay again!
