Having fond memories of a one night stay here a few years ago, our return trip didn't disappoint. The hotel van waiting at the ferry dock was a welcome relief after a long day of travel. The entire facility, from the grounds to the room, is clean and neat. We really enjoyed the sun deck/lounge area and its peaceful, quiet...

La Vela is the best location of any of the hotels we saw on the island - as others have noted, a short walk down to the port as well as to the town area, and across the street from the only ATM on island. Our room was simply appointed but comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The grounds are beautiful...

It just a walk to the town area, with a smattering of shops, bars , restaurants and markets will have all you need....

Tonino, his wife Ornella and his brother Emilio meticulously oversee everything including the vegetable patch. It’s set above a sandy cove among Mediterranean pines and a lovely garden with flowering shrubs and has 14 impeccably kept rooms facing the sea or...
