Detailed Reviews
This particular B hotel is NOT recommendable due to their sloppy housekeeping. In one instance we had to report to the front desk that the rooms became smelly after cleaning service and it was due to strong body odors of the cleaning staff. Being winter, showering was probably not an option for them. Otherwise, the front desk staff did their best. As for location, it was hard to get to Tokyo station and the streets outside the hotel were a bit seedy.

We stayed at this hotel because it was one of the handful of accommodations that had two single beds at a reasonable price (US$ 110/night). I also prioritized staying close to a train station more than staying in a particular neighborhood.
I was very much satisfied with the hotel, and was even pleasantly surprised at some amenities they offered given that it’s a budget hotel. For instance, they provided pajamas (which I used as a robe) that they changed daily, along with slippers, hair conditioner, a foot pillow, and a hairbrush.
I was worried about two things I had read in reviews prior to booking this - the size of the room and the supposed noisy rooms and halls. As for the size, while it did feel like a room in a cruise ship, the space was used very efficiently, and our room in particular had a sizeable nook with a full sized desk. The bathroom was also larger than I expected for a budget hotel and had a regular sized bath tub. I also didn’t think that the hotel was unusually loud. I heard a rowdy person on the street one morning, but I immediately fell back to sleep right away. If you’re able to, maybe ask for a room facing the back of the hotel instead of the street? I can see how the street-facing rooms maybe have heard cars go by.
The location was also exactly what we needed. It’s not in a bustling area like Shinjuku or Shibuya, which are both a train or bus ride away. Roppongi feels like a fancy suburban neighborhood with lots of embassies within a kilometer of the main intersection, which means that it’s incredibly safe and that there’s a smaller chance of finding yourself in a tourist trap. The best meal I had on the trip was at a 2 Michelin star restaurant, which was only a 13 minute walk away. The hotel is also within a 3 minute walk of the Oedo and Hibiya lines. If you need elevator access to/from street level, exit 4A is closest to the hotel.

After reading some reviews I was quite skeptical however, the hotel stay was brilliant.
We left our suitcases at 9am at the hotel till 3pm check-in of no charge as well as, on departure day allowed to leave them there as long as needed.
Our room was on the roadside and despite the road being quite busy very often didn’t hear traffic only noise we did hear was someone singing loudly outside one day other then that very peaceful.
We had a queen room and it was quite spacious and comfortable, the pillows were nice and soft, the bathroom was clean and had a bath. The room had a TV, humidifier, kettle, hairdryer and table mirror.
Rooms were cleaned daily and even if you didn’t want your room cleaned they would leave clean towels on door.
The staff were friendly and kind.
Overall, our stay was 10/10. Especially for the price it was a really nice stay.
(Never wrote a review before so don’t know what to put hope this shows the nice stay we had).

After coming from Hyatt Place Kyoto. This was such a downgrade.
Two single bed and room hardly have place to walk and keep luggage especially if you have big luggage. You climb over chair to reach other side.
Small tiny room.
Service was good. Location is good but you would need to change subways to get to popular spots in Tokyo.
Breakfast paid next door was nothing to write about from thai restaurant as not many veg options for people.
Roponnegi is not exactly place for easy connectivity with switching subways for anyone.
Careful Checkout is 10 AM, learnt hard way and they charge 1500 yen extra for each hour. can drop off luggage early but won;t be able to check in early without forking money
Not exactly value personally.
Nothing against hotel and if these criteria doesn't both anyone then no problem.

Having just come from Grand Hyatt Tokyo, it was a "downsize" but for one night it was fine. During Check in it had to be 3 PM and many luggages were sitting in lobby. Counter Ladies were very nice and friendly and had to use Google Translator at times. We were lucky to be in larger room for 3 people. My bed had no spring box just a mattress so close to the floor. The room is older but clean as it could be. I like this location in Roppongi being near busy street with more restaurants and shops to go in vibrant nightlife. Breakfast had a small fee next door in Thai restaurant which had some Thai food which I liked.

It has a great location, a short walk from the train station and there are countless food options nearby.
We suspect we got a complimentary upgrade as the room was at a top floor and in a corner. It came with a small kitchen area, and our little one appreciated the spaciousness to run about in the room.
It is perplexing though why the complimentary coffee and drinks machines were available for use during certain times of the day only. Not sure why there is a need to restrict use...

The hotel is near the metro station, banks, convenience stores, shopping centers, and restaurants.
Since we like taking long walks, we went by foot to Harajuku, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya Crossing etc
The room was small but very comfortable. The staff was very nice as well.

Overall a very pleasant stay — friendly staff, central location in Roppongi, and very clean and quiet rooms. The free coffee was nice in the morning. Only complaint is that the wifi was very slow, barely usable during peak evening hours, and ok but dropping occasionally the next morning. Otherwise, a great stay for a very reasonable price.

Close to train station and bus stop. It was so easy to go to Shibuya and Tokyo Skytree. Many restaurants are around there.
Room is small but clean and quiet. Staff were nice.
I definitely choose this hotel again.

This is the b roppongi now, the new hip hotel in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan.
This is a hotel for the savvy traveller. This is an 8 storey hotel just steps from the exit 5 Roppongi Station.
We stayed in Room 607, which is the deluxe room, at US151/night (mid-week) booked thru expedia, inclusive of 2 breakfasts. It is the cutest room in Tokyo with a curved wall that has 4 large square windows. One window has a view of the Tokyo Tower, which is lit up at night. The windows have a special frame which encases the screen to make the room completely dark if necessary e.g. sleeping in. The decor was definitely chic and comfortable.
The most memorable experience was the bed which was huge at 7 foot width, which consisted of 2 single beds put together. The comforter was super comfortable. All hotel rooms have brand new Daikin climate control (the Lexus of Climate Controls), individually controlled from each room. Even when compared to the Keio Plaza new Plaza Premier Rooms which feature Simmons mattress and linen, the sleep was definitely better at the b roppongi. The chic robe even felt softer than the kimonos at the Keio.
The room has a Panasonic 20 inch LCD positioned so that it could be viewed at the correct distance from the bed or the lounge chair if swivelled, an empty refridgerator to stock your own goodies e.g. champagne or sushi, complimentary green tea in the room, and broadband internet. Besides the side table lamp, there are 2 cool adjustable halogen reading lights on each side of the bed. The bathroom was almost as big as the Keio Plaza new Plaza Premier room.
Unlike huge hotels like the Park Hyatt (featured in the Lost in Translation movie) where you have to take literally 300 steps just to get to the front of the hotel, the hotel front door was 20 steps from our room. From Roppongi, the major areas of Tokyo can be accessed by subway. The service was personable and non-intrusive. We were met just inside exit 5 after we telephoned them from our handphone before arrival. And we were surprised to be handed 2 umbrellas as it was just starting to rain one day outside the front door.
The location is 5 minutes walk from the Roppongi Hills, the brand new area with the Tokyo City View. Also in the area are numerous restaurants and clubs. The Club Lex and Seryna restaurant were just across from the back of our hotel's dining lounge entry. I have never seen so many exotic cars in one area in my whole life: uncountable S55s and S600s that were further converted, lexuses, bmws, nissan presidents, toyota centuries, new lamborghinis, ferraris, and maseratis, all outside the Seryna restaurant.
I would imagine that all the other rooms feature equally comfortable room, bed, comforter, and climate control. Breakfast was at the hotel dining lounge: soup!, tea, coffee, lettuce strips, sausage, japanese omelets, pastries, toasts, juice, milk, and cereals.
