Pros: Walking distance to Shiba Koen, Zojo-ji Temple, across the street from Tokyo Tower & its attractions. Staff appeared earnest & really tried to be helpful even to non-Japanese speakers. There is a Lawson's downstairs & I could not get enough of that spicy tuna onigiri. Breakfast & dinner buffets (although pricey) never disappointed.
Cons: The rooms are kind of dated & small but considering we barely paid a little over $100US due to the weak yen, I won't complain too much because I've been to NYC where a room like that would have cost well over $300US. The buffets at their restaurant was good but it did feel pricey because we are not big eaters. They used to have a free airport shuttle in the past I hear, but not any more.

I staid here in the beginning of October 2024 as part of a tour package I booked. The hotel outside is classy and the lobby follows suit. We had the lowest class of rooms as we didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep. The 5th floor, the carpet in the area with the elevators had a huge bump in the middle like the carpet doesn't fit the space. It wasn't a big deal but it did trip me up if I wasn't careful. The breakfast was included in our package and was good. There is a Lawson's in the basement which was great and convenient however the basement had a horrible smell. I can't quite put my finger on it but I have a very sensitive nose and it would have me dry heaving a few steps off the elevator. After fighting through it for a minute or two it was fine and the selection was great. I had frozen soup dumplings, we ate grapes several times, and my son got instant ramen that was decent. I had a Boss iced coffee every morning. Our room itself was so quiet, that was great. We heard no noise outside our room, even being right across from the elevators! The bathroom appeared to have no fan which led me to have to leave the door open to let some steam and heat out. There is thankfully a door between the bathroom area and small entrance hall, and the bathroom area affording some privacy. There is no overhead shower, this is weird for me being from the US, I have never run into this. There were two areas to place the hand held but neither allowed for staying in the water. One flooded the bathroom and the other hit the side of the shower where the soap was. There are drains in the bathroom floor but I wasn't expecting the water to go out of the tub and it soaked my towel and clothes the first night. We got 2 bottles of water daily which was a great help and the floor had a vending machine, ice maker, and microwave where the elevators were for easy access. We explored around the hotel and it was beautiful and peaceful. Overall, I recommend the hotel. Just be prepared for the shower.

I stayed overnight for work. It was my first stay in a while, but there hasn't been much change and it doesn't look too old. As with all Prince Hotels, they seem to be streamlining their services by eliminating room service and other services. This is a shame because if you are staying alone, it will become a convenience store without room service. The rooms are twin and small on the lower floors, and a modern business hotel might be better. Or rather, Prince Hotel these days might be closer to a slightly more upscale business hotel that is more reasonable than City Hotel. It seems that the price is getting a little more reasonable. The breakfast buffet was very good. There are omelette demonstrations, and the Tokyo Tower in front of you is really impressive. I think the location is great. Hotels in Tokyo are a reasonable option now that prices are jumping.

Returned to the Tokyo Prince Hotel for a one night stay while attending a wedding in Oct 2023. I enjoyed my first post-pandemic stay at the Prince and was pleased to see that the hotel's longtime staff (e.g., Rosalind at the concierge desk) are still going strong. I was accommodated in a King room per my request (despite none being available when I made the booking) and enjoyed the Prince's enhanced rooms (slightly more modern decorations, refreshed lobby). The price point for the Prince is excellent value for its location and exceptional service. The hotel was able to receive and hold on to a package (wedding card) prior to my arrival, which was passed to me seamlessly and with a smile on my arrival.

On this stay, I was particularly impressed by the concierge/bellman on my 9 Oct departure date. The shuttle bus to Hamamatsucho station had left at the start of the minute (and its clock was about a minute early to begin with) and I had missed it despite sitting in the lobby. Staff contacted the driver via radio and rushed me to the back entrance to catch the bus despite the drizzle, allowing me to catch my train in a timely manner. These service interactions cement my desire to return to the Tokyo Prince on future trips.

The Hotel was very clean, Hotel Staff were very Friendly, rooms were very well maintained. The Hotel Breakfast Bar was outstanding, several Food Choices to select from, all in the English Language.

The Hotel reminds me of a Time Warp, meaning items in the rooms, such as Beds, Tables, Lamps, Mirrors, resembles the 1960's, very cool and nice. Additionally, the Subway, or Train Station, was only 10 mins away from the Hotel walking, I took the Train to Walt Disney, very easy to navigate utilizing Google Map App.

Thank Tokyo Prince Staff and Management, as an American Citizen I was impressed.

Hotel "I liked it" Stay Plan

Night Pool
Entry from 18:00, we used from 19:00

Result: Negative impression, not fun at all.

. Before entering, the staff asked if I wanted to drink alcohol, and I had to decide from the beginning whether I wanted to drink or not? It was annoying, but whether I drink or not depends on the atmosphere and mood.

. First of all, it costs 400 yen to use an old locker, which is unkind.

. The trash in the women's changing room and the dirt in the shower area were not pleasant.

. They charge a high price, so the standard is too low.

. The customers are all girls who are trying hard to be Instagram-worthy. They are taking pictures with floaties both above and below the water. It's annoying!

. I'm tired of having to be careful even to swim or walk in the pool. It felt like I was submerged in water. It's gross.

. If you want a relaxing adult pool feel, you'd be better off going somewhere else.

This was extreme expensive but the room decor and the customer service did not match the price . The view of the Tokyo tower was fantastic but I was left feeling that it wasn’t worth it.

The restaurants were really over priced.
Customer service number did not answer the phone or order a taxi as requested

We enjoyed the location of the Tokyo Prince, within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and the subway. It's also located next to Shiba park and the Zojoji Temple and within walking distance of the Tokyo Tower. The hotel itself is very large and, although a bit old, is well-maintained. The room we had was small, but comfortable, with great linens and excellent water pressure. We couldn't seem to find any English channels on the TV, but then we were very busy and didn't try very hard. The staff are helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. We had a great view of the Tokyo tower which was beautiful when lit up at night.
We did not have breakfast included but found that the adjoining Le Pain Quotidien café had an excellent breakfast menu.
The hotel is a little way away from public transport but that did not bother us as we are big walkers and we walked to the Ginza and imperial palace etc.

I had a superior room, room I fine but not sound proof and the bathroom should have been refreshed at least twice, service at breakfast is super poor and for continental breakfast not the variety and quality you might expect for the price paid. I wanted soft boiled eggs: not possible, wanted a free seat with the nice garden view: no possible. Will stay surely elsewhere next time

If you have more than 1 person, I would check the cost of UBER from Haneda. On the shuttle you will pay per person, but with UBER its one price.

Limousine bus stopped by Shinjuku west then walk around 5-7min, or skyliner to Nippori or Uneo, then metro to Shinjuku station then walk 5-7 mins.

The airport limo doesn’t stop in front of the hotel but at JR Shinjuku west which is in 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.
