Our 206 stylishly modern guest rooms and suites all feature exquisite views of the Tokyo skyline, with 15 of them providing a personal terrace with a direct view of Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Tower.

Location: Toranomon area is primarily business focused so very quiet on the weekend, so not a lot of restaurants or shops close by. There is a Starbucks right outside.
Subway: entrance is right there.
Hotel is on the 31-36 floor of an office building. Lobby is a lush oasis of modern cozy siting and plants, plus an amazing view of Tokyo Tower.
Breakfast: No breakfast buffet either. A la carte food is tasty but portions on the small side.
Room: Tokyo Tower View King Room has a perfect view of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay. Room is large for Tokyo, average for US hotels. King bed, long working desk, window chaise lounge and small round table.
Bed: firm, futon like but comfortable. Very nice linens and pillows. Fur throw adds a lux cozy touch.
Bathroom: Traditional Japanese Ofuro bath and tub combo. It’s technically not a separate bathroom, separated from main room with Japanese wood screen. But it’s very cleverly done such that a large pocket door and 2 pocket sliders provide complete privacy to the bath area. Full size Le Labo bath products.
Amenities: velour robes and slippers, and yukatas. Japanese and western tea bags, hot water pot and ceramic tea pot and cups. Sustainable wood brush, comb and toothbrush.
We enjoyed our stay very much, only compliant is the lack of food options nearby.

We had a wonderful family staycation at the edition this past weekend. Anshul and his team took care of everything we needed to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. He made sure we had the perfect room to have our room service dinner celebration and also the private dining room for lunch the next day. We had a couple friends join us for lunch and they made sure that all seats were 6 feet apart, socially distanced and everyone felt safe. On top of it all, the food was fabulous and service was excellent.

Excellent staycation at the Tokyo Edition. Beautiful, clean aesthetic, excellent service. We were upgraded to a premier king with a great view of the skyline and imperial garden and received personal service from the management team. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday and the local team went above and beyond in decorating our room for the occasion and providing a thoughtful birthday amenity.

It was my first time at the Edition Toranomon and I was blown away by a number of positives. First of all the whole team is world class. Their incredibly attentive service and extremely pleasant care of my experience, made my staying not just comfortable but also memorable. Anshul is the best hotel manager I ever interacted with. Fares, Waka, Sandra and Connie are the names I remember for their professional care and enjoyable interaction, but the whole staff was well trained, responsive, careful, and pleasantly social. The hotel design and comfort are great, the food exceptional, and the location convenient. I will definitely return. Great job!

We are so happy to have spent our vacation at the Tokyo EDITION. We had an impeccable experience. The hotel is the latest in design and amenities, our elegant suite overlooked Tokyo Tower and had every convenience, and the staff endeavored to make our stay all that it could be and more. All staff was a pleasure to interact with and their recommendations achieved perfection. It is an experience we will never forget.
The hotel is well situated right next to Tokyo Metro and centrally located so that most of the city can be accessed by short taxi ride. Their restaurant The Blue Room is an excellent choice for any meal and their swanky bar The Gold Bar is a must that rivals any high end cocktail experience.
Special shoutout to the GM Anshul and Concierge Ai. They couldn't have done more to ensure we had the best of what Japan has to offer both inside and outside of our hotel experience. My wife and I can't wait to recommend to friends and return as soon as possible.

It's hard to describe our excellent experience at this hotel. The head of concierge, Ai and GM, Anshul went out of their way to make sure that our onsite and offsite experience including dining and sightseeing recommendations were taken care of. We met both of them on the night of the check in, and our rooms were ready in advance. Being a Bonoy member helped but I would recommend it anyway as it's the best loyalty program out there. We love everything that Ai recommended from restaurant selections, bars and even clubbing. Anshul and his room director Connie made sure our rooms were taken care of. Everyone we met at the hotel was very helpful in that we didn't feel foreign at all by not speaking a word of Japanese. While we enjoyed our 5-night stay at the property, the best part was after the check out. We accidentally left behind our passport and docs in our safe. Ai immediately sent a hotel team member to deliver our travel docs all the way to Narita Airport, an hour's drive away. We made it to our flight in time. That's why we thought the best part of our stay was actually after we left the property. Thank you for leaving behind such a great experience. It's our first time staying with the Edition chain. I was trying to use my nightly awards at Edition Tokyo Toranomon, first for 4 nights rejected and then 2 nights rejected as well, I spoke to the chat as to their concierge as well as it was urgent and as a MB Platinum Elite I was asking for an upgrade (not suite just regular) and the answer was it is totally full for my time there, will try the best when I am at the property.
I am spending upwards of 2,000usd for a room and yet that is the reply I got, without much assistance or advice whereas other hotels replies were much better.
As a Platinum Elite member I want to highlight that the service by Edition pales to your competitors who are at the same price point such as Andaz opposite and Aman, both of which I ended up staying.
I went to the Edition blue room as a visitor to have snacks and the window views with tokyo tower (albeit hazy) were empty. there were 2 tables available and I asked for one but was turned away as it is “fully booked” according to the lady at 2pm (it was 130pm).
Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed at the service in tokyo for Mariott properties, especially in a country which is known for hospitality. more so a Platinum Elite Member, as a warning for all MB users don’t bother as there are zero benefits and are useless at this hotel.

In review 5042 of hotel shaving kits, a long neglected and under appreciated amenity I am giving the Edition a 5 which means you can safely use it to shave a 5 day stubble. 3 blade razor with lanolin strip and nice cream.
Oh and the hotel rooms are amazing too.

When you walk in and feel the calm jungle environment you know this is bliss.
The attention to detail is nothing short of perfection.
When you call guest services the phone doesn't even ring once.
The bed is heavenly, the shower is divine, and the views are spectacular.
The shower has so much water pressure. I stayed in there and didn't want to get out.
The hotel bar has amazing staff with Porto wine and hand cut ice.
The Blue Room restaurant had such delicious food.
Have a staycation for a random weekday to totally reset and recharge.
The hotel staff was so amazing.
My Instagram is going to be filled with photos from my stay for a few days.

I have now stayed here several times, hoping that the report would evolve and improve. This has not been the case. Here is what I didn’t like:
1) The hotel has zero sense of place. It’s a bland execution of the Edition vision and it could be a hotel in any other city in the world. If not for the view out of the windows, you are not able to tell you are in Tokyo, or even Japan. Zero concept of “otomenashi”.
2) No elite upgrade offered, despite available, compliant rooms. No elite recognition offered at any point.
3) Concierge is severely lacking for a five star city hotel. I had a request to find an article of clothing, and the concierge Googled it, and told me it was impossible and sold out everywhere. I called my friend, a concierge at The Okura, and they were able to find three shops with stock within five minutes. This is what a “concierge” used to do. Pick up the phone. Work their network. The concierge service at Tokyo Edition is not commensurate to a five star hotel. I made my dinner reservations on my own!
4) Rooms are full of scuffed walls and stained furniture. Not surprising given the Edition design language—hope you like relaxing on a dirty white sofa!
Tokyo has some of the best city hotels in the known universe. You can do so much better than the Tokyo Edition Toranomon for your hard-earned Yen.
