If you would like to be close enough to the main strip in Ginza, then this hotel is good and won't cost you a fortune. The walk to the main shopping district in Ginza is about 10 minutes. This is also situated 5 minutes away from the closest Tokyo metro station that could take you to other popular areas in Tokyo in 20-30 minutes. The rooms are fairly comfortable. For travelers who prefers room that are pitch dark during your sleep this is perfect as the blinds block 99.99% of the light even if it's blasting sun outside. There are convenience stores, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk that would satisfy the basic needs while travelling. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Now on the flip side, the rooms are extremely small. We stayed in a double room that was merely 14 square meters large and we had difficulty opening two large sized suitcases. The desk next to the bed is small and for ladies who have plenty of gadgets at the beginning of the day for make up then this could be chaotic. The bathroom is clean but again small but acceptable. These "size" issues are atypical of a lot of mid range priced hotels.
Specifically to Quintessa, I think although the rooms look clean visually, there is a potential issue with dust. We stayed for 6 nights and at the end of our stay we could find dust collecting on top of our suitcases. As I am super sensitive to dust, my nasal allergy did not have a good time. We asked for extra pillows and both pillow cases had stains on it which we thought being an extremely hygienic country we would never encounter in Japan. The toilet seat when we checked in on the first day looked inadequately cleaned and the fridge had a smell that were from food from the last guests. (The smell remained for the entire stay and we refrained from using the fridge altogether.)
Overall was an average stay mainly due to its location and the reasonable rates but some core improvements suggested and probably not the best choice if you need more space.

I can say that this hotel lives up to my expectation. We know that most Hotels in Japan are small but for the price that you have paid for, it is a decent hotel with complete supply of toiletries. They have also free flow of coffee and tea at the reception. Reception area has also area to store your luggages. Security wise, this hotel is secured! you can only access your floor if you have tapped your card at the lift. No one can also access the hotel from outside during midnight to wee hours of morning as you need to tap your card or intercom the front desk. The toilet is equipped with bidet and also with a great amount of soap, shampoo, conditioner. The water has heater even the bidet and toilet seat. The bed is comfortable as well and room has window and black out and day blinds. My sleep was so sound that I didn’t realize it is already 8:30am as no sunshine peeked through the window because of great black out curtains. The hotel has fridge, hangers, hair dryer, desk attached to the wall, small lamp and shoe horn, shoe shine/ brush, and in-room sanitizer spray. They also provide room slippers, sleeping robe, towels, floor mat, toiletries, and mugs/cups. Hotel is fully booked during my stay, I am amazed how the hallways can be quiet at most of the times. The bed also smells clean and they have a good exhaust fans in each rooms. It doesn’t smell moldy knowing that summer heat can trigger molds. Housekeepers are very helpful as well. Front desks are superb, they helped to receive my package while i was away. Although breakfast is plated and only 2 options, we were also filled every time. Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely come back and stay here again.

Rooms have everything you need and the location is unbeatable. Great restaurants and shopping within a stone's throw away. No room service but didn't stay in the room much anyway. There is a emergency medical center next door if you need any assistance (which gave me peace of mind). Regular Taxis as well as subway access. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience with their deposit and lodging tax policies. When I checked in on November 7 around 4:30 p.m., a male front desk staff member informed me that I needed to pay JPY 3,600 as a deposit for two rooms. However, when I checked out on November 13 around 9:00 a.m. and asked for the return of this deposit, a female staff member responded in a rather unfriendly manner, questioned my request, and told me that this was actually a “lodging tax,” not a deposit.
This explanation contradicted the information I was initially given, and after doing some research, I found that the lodging tax charged by the hotel seems to exceed the legal rate.
The inconsistency in staff explanations and the unfriendly attitude made me feel uncomfortable. I hope the hotel can improve their communication and provide clearer information regarding charges in the future.

Got the package which included breakfast. Don’t pay for the breakfast option. In fact, if the website offers it, don’t even bother. The breakfast is through the little deli/coffee place downstairs and it is a set menu with no changes allowed. It’s actually a terrible breakfast. If u don’t believe me, please write your own review later about the breakfast and see if u have any good things to write about.
The hotel itself is very nice. It’s quite small but you’re at a great location at Ginza. Rooms are very clean. I can’t believe there isn’t a safe inside the room. No closet at all in this room. But overall would stay here again simply for the location.
Coming in from HND, just ride the Keikyu line and exit at Higashi-Ginza station. It’s so easy to do.

Room Tip:Don’t pay for the option of the breakfast. It’s one of the worst breakfast setups I have ever seen.

Good location but had to change hotels after a couple nights, room was just too small. The price point makes it somewhat of a good value but for $20USD more a night found a much better hotel about 10 minutes away. Breakfast Isn’t very good at all - they give you a voucher for a fixed-menu “cafeteria” style breakfast tray that wasn’t appealing at all to eye and taste. Skip breakfast if you do decide to stay.

This hotel is quite nice and is located near a subway station. The rooms are quite small but decently sized compared to other hotel rooms in Tokyo. The hotel is clean but does not have any amenities. The front staff are friendly but not very knowledgeable about restaurants or other things near the hotel.

We have just had two nights at this hotel. Typical business type hotel, small room and bathroom, very clean and compact. Comfortable sleep, good free wifi and the small desk came in very handy. Breakfast was part of the deal and was down at street level at a adjoining cafe . Close to the station also, perfect for our needs

Very convenient location near the metro!! Very small rooms and without a wardrobe but nothing strange for this country. The room was however clean, the staff very courteous. Breakfast was served in the bar at the base of the structure. I recommend it for a stay in Tokyo

This new hotel just located behind the hisahashi ginza -asakusa line; just only around 200 m towards the subway exit. Hotel is super new, all the facility still in superb conditions. Lawson is just right around the corner, only less than 50 meters.
Receptionist did a good job, handling all the customer in an orderly manner. There's an ice machine, vending machine, and laundry, at the lobby level, which is on the 2nd floor. 1st floor was a cafe, and lift towards lobby hotel.
Room size for hollywood twin room, so called bigger room according to receptionist, was only 15sqm, which i found quite crampped, for two adults and one minor. But either way, thats all Japan standard size, so please keep in mind, if you carry your big suitcase, might not have lots of space for you to open up the luggage.
Windows inside the room, was no view to the street, so pick your room better, if you would like to have better view, although the windows was a blurry tinted window. ( privacy issued )
