Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was fantastic for easy JR transfers. The only down fall was only one hard pillow being provided in the room (double bed) and the pilllow menu area having run out of pillows, led to a rather uncomfortable night.

Third time staying at this hotel. Short walking distance from Tokyo Station. Used the coin operated washing and drying machines. Instructions were not clear whether there was detergent preloaded in the machine. It would be great if the hotel can replace the reusable room slippers with dispensable ones. Not sure whether they have been cleaned properly before the next guests used them.

Pro: - 5 mins walk from Tokyo Station, 10 mins walk from Metro. - With lots of restaurants nearby. - Great public bath, bath in some of the Super Hotels are quite small, this one is up to standard. - Reasonable price.

A great hotel in a great location - 2 mins from Tokyo station which you can access from underground subway. Spacious for Japan standards. All toiletries provided, breakfast if needed. Also, a happy hour each night. Access with PIN code. We organised to have our luggage delivered to our next hotel which was very handy.

Great location across the street from Tokyo train station - with all of it's connections via trains and subways with the rest of the city and country. Super friendly, couteous staff. Rooms all well appointed (though on the small size). Nice hot baths, for after of day of exploring the city. Good size, and varied, buffet breakfast. Really appreciated the 'Welcome drink' time at the end of each day - nice time to relax, talk about our day and plan the next. This is one of a chain of hotels in Japan - would really consider staying at others the next time. Highly recommend.

I’m very glad we picked this hidden gem of a hotel for our visit in Tokyo. The staff, the location & the facilities all get top marks from us. The location cannot be beat. We chose this location because of its close proximity to Tokyo station and particularly the airport bus service whose terminal is literally across the street on the outside of the giant train station. The staff is amazingly courteous, kind and helpful. There were always making sure we had everything we needed even at 6am when we left the building when it was drizzling. A staff member ran out after us to lend us their hotel umbrellas without being prompted. The hotel has 2 onsens on different floors separated by gender that is open from 3pm until 10am the next morning. Great to be able to soak our tired feet after days of sightseeing and also to relax when suffering from jet lag at 3am!

During 'Happy Hour" the employee had surveys in her hand. I asked her what those were, just to start a friendly conversation and she stated they're for their survey. I asked her if she wanted me to fill one out as she was really nice and supportive. So, I did and then she stated there's a gift for filling one out. I want to my seat and I was sitting and working with my mother with me when a front desk associate came with a basket of 10 cent candies to pass out. I took one and said than you then I was expecting my mother to be offered one and she stated "no, sorry, only one per review." Please see the photo of the 10 cent candy. I was so offended about the disrespect of turning a piece of candy away from a guest (my mother). I informed the lady I wanted to speak about this disrespect on the Internet for the world to be aware of this, but before doing so and to avoid all 'surprises,' I wanted to inform the GM. He can and stated 'this is a gift and not a service from us and this is out way of conducting service.' I sure hope he rethinks what he shared. I informed him a 10 cent piece of candy should not be avoided from being offered to all guests and not just select ones; I can understand if it was a TV or computer being given as a gift, and not a 10 cent piece of candy. He stated he disagreed with me; I asked for his card and informed him to reconsider their 'gift or service' strategy to avoid disappointments/disrespect onto guests in the future. He really lacks understanding of hospitality and guest services as a GM, so sad. Not sure how Super Hotel is supportive (if they even are aware or know about this or the support from their GM at this site).

Great location, very near to Tokyo Station. I stayed in a twin room. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet spread looked good but we were rushing for the train so we only had less than half an hour to enjoy it. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, guided us to a shortcut to Tokyo Station.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We got their early and stored our luggage whilst we went out to sightsee. They supplied kimonos and toiletries, and the same sex onsen (baths) were a lovely treat. There were women only floors for safety/comfort too.
