Location: right next to JR line (Osaka Loop line) making it so easy to make Osaka as a base and go to Kyoto, Hiroshima etc. Right next to Osaka Castle. A little dated but clean. We requested an air purifier/ humidifier which they brought over in 2 minutes. Beds were very comfortable. We had a triple room. Room size was big which was one of the main reasons for picking this hotel over there Thera. Bed sizes were long which was very important. Amenities were great. Service was simply world class. Breakfast was very good. Open till 10am. Concierge desk was great too. Taxis are always available there at different time of the day. We found that Taxis were not that expensive allowing door to door travel rather than 10-20 minute walk each time you take public transportation. This helped a lot when you are doing 10-20k step days as is. I was a little nervous that this was a little out of the way when I booked it. I’m glad we picked this place.
I’d pick this hotel any day!
Great management great service. So impressive!

I stayed at Hotel New Otani Osaka for the first time in more than a decade, which I have been familiar with since I was a kid.
The food, the service, the cleaning, the room… Everything was amazing.

I am grateful for the hospitality of the staff, starting with the male staff at the car stop.

The lobby still has high ceilings and it was just December, so Christmas trees and other decorations were good.
The café lounge in the middle of the lobby feels open and lively and fun.
(I often use it even when I am not staying)

The female staff at Belstaff, who carried my luggage to my room and arranged for me as soon as I told them I needed a separate chair, also had a lovely smile and were very kind.

When I stay at a hotel, it is always dry and I get a sore throat, but when I request it, Yokoshima was very kind to me and I am grateful to the housekeeping staff for always cleaning up my room.

I ordered room service at dinner on the first day, and since then, Adachi-san has been very helpful to me, paying attention to detail and moving quickly when needed.
Thanks to Adachi-san and the other staff, I was able to relax both physically and mentally, and it was a very rich vacation.

At Satsuki on the first floor, she told Mr. Omura many times while eating
They noticed and taught me a lot about the food, and the beef sandwich I ate after checking out was my first taste and was excellent. The sauce and wasabi were also a good spice and really delicious.

The bar on the top floor, Four Seasons, was a calm bar with beautiful night views. Mr. Shimiz, the bartender who welcomed us with a gentle smile, and Mr. Yajima, who was smart and giddy, gave us a good time.
I even went there for two days in a row because I was so happy that people bothered to come and talk to me when they found me.

At the French restaurant SAKURA next to it, Mr. Yoshimochi, who chose a delicious full course and wines that went well with it, thank you for a truly delicious and wonderful dinner.
Delicious food has become more delicious.

And Mr. Fukui,
Thank you for being as professional and caring as ever.

Thanks to these good memories, I am looking forward to my next stay.

Check-in shortly before 3pm, there was a decent number of people, but the front desk was smooth without any crowd, it was a standard room, but it was not too big, it was old but it was cleaned, so they brought it as soon as I called them, they were quick to respond, there was no bath salt, so I brought my own hot spring water to relax,

I made a reservation because I was going around the hotel bouquet, but later I was disappointed to learn that dinner was only on Saturdays and Sundays, but I continued to make the reservation in the morning because the bouquet seemed good, and at night I didn't eat nearby, I took a taxi to DoubleTree Osaka Castle,

In the morning, it is divided into two parts, dispatch, Japanese food and Western food, and because it is spacious, you can choose slowly. Recently, there are many groups of Chinese and Korean people, so we had a May flight, but it happened to be almost absent, so we had a relaxing time after a long time.

When I went to the lobby before 11 o'clock, I thought it would be quite crowded, but the front desk smoothly checked out, waiting for the wedding person or lunch buffet, I thought I wanted to eat it at night, and by the way, I thought there was no cake in the morning buffet, so I bought a hotel cake and left.

I went to Super Sweets Buffet 2025 - Strawberry Picking at Hotel - which runs until 3/31.

About a 5-minute walk from Osaka-jokoen Station,
It is being held at SATSUKI LOUNGE in the lobby of the first floor in the stately atmosphere of New Otani☆
We visited during the Paris x Amaō theme in January, but from February the buffet theme will change to New York x Amaō and Seoul x Amaō in March.

The showcase was filled with strawberry cute mini cakes and sweets.
A system where the staff takes it.
There is also a fresh squeezed Mont Blanc!
There are also two Pierre Hermé cakes!
Pancake corners, ice cream gelato and even a mini parfait.
Everything is so cute, please do this and this! And then I did.
I was soon full.゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。
There are plenty of other than sweets, you might say savoury, and sandwiches include roast beef, broth rolled sandwiches, salads, potatoes, gratin, chicken, soup, curry, etc...
Sweet and spicy infinite loop.

As expected, New Otani, the sweets and the food system were authentically delicious and I was very satisfied.
If it's such a delicious buffet, it's satisfying.
The tea was also very tasty with a particular focus.
It was a weekday but quite a success.
It was a quick 90 minutes. It is 6,500 yen for adults weekdays / 7200 yen for weekends and holidays.
Strawberry picking at the hotel is recommended ♫

The reception staff were very polite in their guidance, guidance, and explanation of the services. My first impression was that they were excellent.
The room was very comfortable and well laid out, and I didn't want to leave the room. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were all individually sized, and it was very clean that they didn't reuse them.
I had breakfast at SATSUKI on the first floor, and all the staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. They even came to collect empty glasses and plates at the right time, and I could tell they were keeping an eye on their surroundings. I was very surprised by the service of making an omelet right in front of me, and I watched them make it for the person before me, when I was eating, and when I was eating.
They also explained things clearly when I was leaving, and I was able to check out comfortably until the very end.
I would like to use their services again when I travel to Osaka.
Thank you very much.

Large hotel with impressive multi-storey stone-clad lobby.
Perfect location 100 m from the metro stop (directly connected to Kansai International Airport) and right in front of Osaka Castle and its beautiful park.
We stayed in a superior room on the 18th floor, with a beautiful view of the castle and the Daini Neia river, very clean and well maintained, but a bit dated, especially the bathroom, although comfortable, which deserves a renovation.
Very good and abundant breakfast buffet, with an area dedicated to typical Japanese dishes and another with more international tastes.
Staff extremely courteous and able to speak acceptable English.
The hotel also offers a bus service that takes you to Kyoto Station at an extremely affordable price (around 6 euros per person).
Negative note: entrance to the pool is charged (also quite expensive) and if you also want a deckchair you have to pay an additional fee.

I live in Osaka, but I like hotels, so I stayed here because my class reunion was in Kyobashi and I didn't want to come home late. The taxi from Kyobashi was comfortable. I was confused by the crowds due to Christmas and a concert. The champagne by the glass for 500 yen was excellent. I was extremely satisfied with the room and location. I was told that room service would be more than an hour, so I was taking a bath and they came to visit me, was it a pleasant or annoying experience? I was confused.
I felt sorry and grateful.
I was not satisfied with the content of the breakfast buffet in the sky restaurant, it was on par with a business hotel, and 4000 yen was just the price of the venue. The sausages were bad.
Shauwessen?
I would prefer something German or British.
I was grateful for the smartphone charger loan, the change of morning paper from Yomiuri to Nikkei, and the sudden request.

Otherwise, it was as expected of the Hotel New Otani. Thank you very much.

Hotel of no interest, disappointing, expensive, old, poorly located, noisy (you can hear the train every 5 minutes)

Good points

- helpful and professional staff even if when returning at the end of the day we were jumped on as soon as we entered the entrance doors to ask us if we were staying in the hotel….
- Varied breakfast and even if you have to present paper coupons to access it

Negative points: everything else to know

- situation
- old hotel; minimalist old-fashioned bathroom with shower curtain and still key system to open your room, carpet on the floor in several colors, flat screen TV but 1st generation
- very noisy hotel because of the train which passes every 5 minutes
- poorly located because far from the city center
- decent swimming pool but paying

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The room was large and comfortable, and had a very nice seating area (two chairs!) and a good workdesk area. Everything was spotlessly clean, the location by the river is scenic, and breakfast was excellent. The room was very quiet. Cost was reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

I particularly liked the location beside the river and across from the big park, as there are walking paths on both sides of the river, and the park itself has many great walkways for wandering.

The only downside to the location is access if you are coming by train. If you are coming in to Osaka station, you will have to change trains to the loop line and go to Osakajokoen station; then the hotel is an easy 200 m walk. I came in to the Kyobashi station, and walked the 750 m from the station - not too bad, but a bit of a distance with luggage. For Shin-Osaka station, a taxi is the only reasonable option, as getting here would involve two train transfers.

Also, for access to or from the KIX airport, this hotel was excellent. There are trains which go direct to the airport from the nearby Osakajokoen station (several daily). The train ride takes awhile to get to the airport (I think it was about one hour), but there are no transfers and the airport is the final stop on the line.

For touring Osaka, access to the metro is only 200 m away, and the JR loop line is also only 200 m away. Osaka is quite spread out, and the tourist attractions are also spread out, but the metro and/or the JR loop line usually makes access easy. In any case, this hotel is within walking distance of some tourist attractions: right across from the very nice Osaka Castle park (and the castle), reasonably close to the Osaka Museum of History, and the pier from which river cruises leave is right across from the hotel, on the opposite bank of the river.

The castle-view rooms are worth the extra money, in my opinion.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. Since I arrived about three hours before checkin time, they stored my luggage until later in the afternoon. They also stored my luggage on checkout day, as I had an evening flight from KIX and didn't want to take luggage along on the last day sightseeing in Osaka.

Another plus for the front-desk staff: I was looking for a laundromat, and had tried finding something on mapping programs and search engines, without much luck. The front desk people were much more helpful, and supplied me with the name and location of a laundromat that was just over two blocks away, and very clean.

Definitely I will stay here again the next time I am in Osaka.

Due to sudden rescheduling, we stayed alone. At the time of Reservation, they told us that there was only a smoking room available, so worst of all, they planned to cancel if they smelled smoking and leave, but they were able to keep the non-smoking room at check-in.
I was really happy.
We had a single Reservation, but it was a very spacious and relaxing twin room.
We are also happy to have a very good meal, even though we made a Reservation the day before, using the preferential ticket.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Christmas again 🎄 We will make a Reservation for your daughter's birthday celebration.
Thank you.
