First time in a 5 star hotel! I booked one night for a staycation to celebrate my son's 8th birthday. Due to coronavirus, there were safety protocols in place at the street level entrance before letting us up to the check-in floor (12th F). Once there, we were greeted pleasantly by the check-in staff. To the uninitiated, the 5 star experience was really impressive and I've never had such care. I had mentioned that we were due to go out to dinner. By the time we returned to the room, the night time amentities were in place as well as a lovely towel design on the bed with a birthday card. Calls made to the Butler were answered promptly and responded to courteously. The next morning, my son was delivered his birthday cake and was so pleased. The hotel is beautiful and we had a corner room with views of the city from the bath. Butler and Room Service were all really great with enthusiastic young staff. The only minor point was my room key did not work when I first tried to enter the room, but I was issued new keys and escorted back up promptly. I would stay here again and recommed to anyone looking for a friendly and luxurious stay. Thank you once again!! :)

The St Regis staff really impressed me. They make you feel welcomed. The room was wonderful. We had a very memorable Osaka trip because of the stay here. The concierge (forgot her name) went above and beyond in helping us make a rsvp to a very popular restaurant. Even Amex Platinum concierge couldn't help us get the rsvp. The butler service was excellent. The location was perfect. Thank you St Regis.

First of all, I would like to say wow. This hotel is something else. Impeccable service, and the locstion could not be better. The bar might be the most stunning thing about this hotel. Fully whiskey menu with delicious appetizers.

The breakfast can get repepitive after a few days but that does not take away from the fact that it is still a world class breakfast buffet.

Tuesday nights are cheapest here and I urge any traveler considering this hotel to book it because it is the besr way to spoil yourself

Our family stayed here with our two daughters (11 & 8) and absolutely loved it! The hotel, restaurants & bar are immaculate and the staff is so warm and friendly.

My husband accidentally left his air pods in the bed and they got whisked away when house keeping cleaned the room. He was able to track them to the off-site laundry location and the hotel went above & beyond to find the air pods and ship them to us at our next Japan location. It was our fault we lost them, but the hotel was so kind to be so helpful.

Would 100% recommend staying here!!!

Loved! Still thrilled by great St. Regis experience. Not a stranger to St. Regis hotels, welcomed by their unique scents feel home away home. Attentive service from check in, breakfast and check out, Inoue san from the Concierge team showcased the greatest value of the stay, warm welcome and sweet goodbye which we could never forget.

Thank you St. Regis Osaka team, thank you Inoue san, see you next time!

The hotel is located in a lovely part of Osaka filled with high end shopping. We had a large room and bath with 2 sinks and a shower and bathtub room with the shower having many shower heads. There is a walk in closet but not many shelves or drawers if you have a lot to unpack. There is a desk and sofa seating area. There are bedside electronics. The room had a full expanse of windows which provided a lovely view of the city and made the room light and airy. The breakfast is not a buffet and includes a set western plate or Japanese plate with some extras that you can order. Seems a waste of food if you don’t want all of the things included on each of the sets. We had initially contacted the concierge by email several weeks before our arrival and they were unable to make the reservation that we requested and offered other suggestions. Unfortunately we did not get back to the concierge until the evening before our arrival and we did not receive a response to our subsequent email, and so we went to the concierge desk upon our arrival at the hotel. The concierge did not speak the best English and we finally, with difficulty, received a reservation for dinner at a beef establishment which was fun but not the best quality meat. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the lovely bar. The hotel is close to a subway entrance. We would recommend this hotel.

Location ideal, beautiful premises, high end and luxurious spaces. Unfortunately the service is really subpar for a hotel of this standing. The hotel is not really kid friendly. The service is very rigid, dry and basic… a lot of time constraints and nobody is able to give you a real solution to your needs as staff is more concerned about the process than really satisfying clients. If you want your room to be cleaned, you better tell them exactly the times you will be in your room if not basically they will not do it… if you want to have feedback on a question you asked or a service requested to concierge services? you better ask the right personnel and not the front desk as they will brutally tell you that is not their area… you want to have a drink with your family in the hotel? nope not possible, families with kids are not welcomed (I am talking 11 years old not babies) . Do you want a simple feedback from the hotel staff on after an earthquake making your room and hotel shake badly…?nope, “in Japan that is normal” hence do not expect any info, email, call from the hotel safety staff (hotel is indeed perfectly equipped with anti-seismic systems). I am Not sure where the whole going beyond clients expectations st regis style went in this hotel. It is up to you to adapt to them and not the other way around. The hotel seems to have a culture of boxing clients into rigid choices making your stay feel more like a military camp rather than a luxury hotel. While the hotel physical premises are honestly great, it is sad to see how the genuine human interaction and basic client centricity are totally absent in key staff members of this hotel. For clarity I raised my concerns with management and received a very polite answer on my concerns, but not sure how effective this will be given that these issues seemed to be structurally part of the staff training.
For this price range once should expect more! Way more client driven attitude.

The hotel location is good. There is a subway station next to it. At the end of Shinsaibashi, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the most lively place. The room is quite large, well maintained. The lighting in the room is too poor to adjust. The linen is very comfortable, and the toiletries are not high-grade. Breakfast is served in Japanese, Western and buffet styles and it’s surprisingly average. Do not recommend!

The St. Regis is an upscale 5* hotel located in the heart of Okasa’s Midosuji district.

In terms of location, it’s perfect from a touristic point of view. Beautiful location to walk around.

The rooms are spacious but outdated in my opinion. The hotel’s decor in general looks a bit cheap/outdated, but still with a touch of elegance.

The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The concierge (when available) was knowledgable, however, despite there were always 3 people behind the desk only one was allowed/able to make any suggestions.

Veduta, the Italian restaurant isn’t bad, it has a good bolognese pasta. However the decor once again is a bit outdated.
The breakfast is quite pricy if not included in the room’s package and not really worth it. The buffet has little to offer.

Overall, it’s outdated but still a good hotel choice in Osaka. The rooms are spacious and offer an overall great views.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights with my parents. We got the Grand Deluxe King Room with city view.

The room was beautiful, space was efficiently utilized, a small little hallway from the door leading into the floor to ceiling window with a nice city view, very comfortable sized bathroom with standing shower and tub right next to each other, equipped with amazing bath amenities from the Byredo collection. Decent size walk in closet with Japanese style kimonos provided, bed is a wonderful king size with comfortable mattress.

Breakfast was no short than what we expect of a St Regis. Good selection of food, good quality of food, and since this is in Osaka, they have a Japanese breakfast as well, which was to my parents’ absolute delight.

You can always expect amazing service from a St Regis, mostly at their properties within Asia and the UAE. Osaka St Regis was no exception, my understanding and concern of traveling within Japan is their lack of English spoken in general, however, everyone spoke perfect English within the property, which made everything so much more pleasant and easier.

This property is conveniently located just minutes away of the popular destination Shinsaibashi, which is a long stretch of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This property also provides every aspect of the renowned butler service (complimentary tea / clothe pressing etc), they also have a St Regis bar which boasts a beautiful local mural with the famed champagne sabering every evening.

Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend this property.
