It's about 10ish mins walk from all the main shopping areas and buzz places.

After traveling for nearly 40 hrs, we were lucky enough to be able to check in two hours early.

Staff friendly.

Room big enough, bathroom thi felt like some caravan bathroom, it's hard to explain but the whole bathroom fell like made out of cheep plastics panels.

The house keeping team clean rooms everyday. The only issue they will leave more dental kits, vanity kits, tea etc every single day, even if you did not use them. After a week of them sitting there you will think they would take a hint that you don't use them. No coffee in the room, just green tea.

They also would not take any extra trash that left near the bin, just whatever is inside the bin. The bins really tiny, fills in pretty quickly.

The public baths really busy. Kids running around unsupervised, would not recommend.

Overall, good hotel, clean.

The hotel is literally 2 mins walking distance away from Doutonbori street, which is where the tourist spots are. Good place to stay as there is Lawson and Family Mart just by their doorstep. It is also within walking distance to a train station, i.e., Nagahoribashi

Overall room was roomy, nice and neat. Good place to stay if you wanna go shopping.

Location is great, next to dontoburi street. There r alot of choices. Hotel staffs r not really friendly. Probably hotel is too crowded, can’t even offer an extra pillow. Bath area is crowded and cleanliness not well maintained. Walking to namba JR/ nankai to airport is about 15mins. I took taxi from
Hotel to OCAT. OCAT has bus to kansai or ITM airport.

Very slip-shod housekeeping - second night we forgot to stick the “Make-up room” magnet outside the room and as a result our room was not cleaned. Front desk told me that is the rules we have to adhere to (???). Towels were changed and trash were cleared but beds were not made and used pyjamas provided by the hotel were not cleared. I voiced out my displeasure to the front desk and she managed to get the housekeeping (which is outsourced by the hotel) to come clean my room.

The following night (3rd night) we came back to the room and noticed they did not clean / place back the cup I used in the morning, no mat in the bathroom, hair accumulated in the bathtub not cleaned/cleared for the past few days.

The so-called Sky Spa (public bath) water has strong chlorine smell. This is not the good quality onsen water one would expect. I stayed at Dormy Inn in Tokyo the previous week. Their onsen water is of high quality, leaving your skin feeling very smooth. The water at the Sky spa at Candeo has a strong chlorine smell - you need to take another bath to clean up after using it!

While there are positives of this hotel (good breakfast buffet spread and convenient location, there is a Dormy Inn just across the road from Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba which I am sure should offer much better value!

We checked in on 13 December 2024, counter staff was unfriendly and rushed through the whole check in process with a frown. Make up room rules if after 9am no make up room means we need to wake up before 9am in order to have our room cleaned.
We got mixed up with check out timing thought was 12pm but was 11am. Reception called at 11.25am we went down to check out immediately. We were charged for late check out even after trying to explain. They refused the waiver. Reception staff - Mr Changsoo K was very unfriendly and unprofessional. He told us that "You should know the hotel check out timing" in a rude tone.
We will not stay in this hotel anymore. We did not expect Japan service standard has changed so much.

Rooms modern but small, location decent but overall experience not great.

The breakfast consists mostly of stale bread, fish related foods and bad coffee

The dinner was worse, having booked in advance to find out they had sold out of almost anything with no mains available

We arrived early and they said the rooms clean and ready but we had to pay extra to use it

They have wine vending machines which we were also told we can’t use (not sure why?)

Overall bad experience for the price

If you’re planning a visit to Osaka, I highly recommend staying at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, offering great value for the price.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the sauna, which was a fantastic addition to my stay and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing.

We stayed in a room with one king bed for 6 nights. The bed was big enough to fit all 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) but the room is quite small with no space to open up our suitcases. We had to fold up our pram before going in to the room. The bathroom is extremely small too..which is typical in japan hotel. I was quite surprised there is no safe in the room nor a humidifier. No bottled water was provided.

We didn't have breakfast there so no comments. There are free lockers in the lobby to store luggages.

I thought the location of the hotel was closer to the main area but turns out to be at least 15-20mins walk to Namba station or Dotonbori area. There are also lots of clubs in the street next to the hotel. Not very ideal with kids.

First visit to this hotel in Oasaka, very nice location with gorgeous rooftop onsen. The hotel is just next to Shinsaibashi walking street and walkable distance to the near railway station, small room with small toilet but enough space for solo traveler. However, the room is well maintained and be honest it's really nice to have rooftop onsen in the central area of Oasaka. Definitely will come back next time for my trip to Oasaka.

Staff were very accommodating and assisted with a change to our booking. The room was very small and would be perfect for 2 adults but we were three...the main issue is lack of storage. If you traveled without any bags is would be fine, but on a ski holiday we had a fair bit of stuff. The bed is an enormous super king, which is far too big for the room. The sofa-bed works well and had a window view. The window opened a few inches which was crucial as the room AC was noisy and either too hot or too cold. In Japan you can sleep with windows open even in big cities because there is almost no car horn 'tooting' going on! Small fridge was great and there were cups and glasses galore but very little in the way of tea-bags or condiments. No closet, no usable drawers or shelves. I think a cleverer design of the room would have provided solutions here. Bathroom was the smallest I have experienced in many trips to Japan. Onsen was fabulous and highly recommended. Free luggage storage.

Hi ap9ogiese for delay. I5 May depend if there are any attendants at 5he door. They are pretty strict about tattoos 8n public places. However if the spa is not populated you could be ok.
