This hotel is perfectly positioned, being under 5 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi station and shopping centre, and 10 minutes walk from Dotonbori. The rooms are compact, but spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderfully helpful and efficient. Lots of freebies available such as pocket wifi rental, ramen tasting and cookery demonstrations. We will certainly stay there again.
I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff is so hell-bent on making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everyone is extremely friendly (without coming off as fake), if you have a question or need help they'll do everything they can. Also, the amount of free extra's is extraordinary. You've got free ramen and alcohol every evening, the mini bar in your room is free, you can use umbrella's when it's rainy outside, there are massage chairs in the lobby. Free activities too - like wearing a kimono with a photoshoot or ceramics painting. You really can't beat this, anywhere. As for the room, it's small, but that's to be expected in Japan. It is very clean and the rooms still feel very new. There is a quick working heating and airconditioning system. Overall we couldn't have wished for a better stay in Osaka!…
Great choice to stay in Osaka. The location is unbeatable, in the middle of Shinsaibashi, walking distance from hundreds of shops and restaurants, and very close to Dotonbori. The subway is very close, so it's very easy to move around the city and even reach other places like Kyoto or Nara. The hotel facilities are modern and look new, the room is small (As most rooms in Japan) but neat, and the lobby has massage chairs available to unwind after a day of walking. Also, I loved every day they had games, activities or trivias for the guests. Also, the evening free ramen dinners are phenomenal. All those little details made this a very pleasant stay, I strongly recommend this place and I would stay here again if I come back to Osaka.
really good service, clean rooms, free flow of ramen & drinks at night, hospitality of the hotel staff is spot on. relatively new rooms as well. only thing is the room is a little small. however, would still recommend this place
This was a great stay for our first visit to Osaka. Room was small but clean. Great extras provided by the hotel - umbrellas when you needed, massage chairs in the lobby (especially after a full day of walking) and great attentative service at the front desk. AND lots of really good food from the local restaurants (the one directly across the street - The Emotional Racoon Dog, is VERY good). There are events every night - we did the kimono dressing and got a nice picture as a souvenir. Drinks are always available in the common area, not to mention ramen and drinks available every night. And the location was perfect - close to subways/trains/buses and the Dotomburi and shopping districts.
