Room 612 Amethyst Room
Price at the time Jan 25-Jan26: $270 Total tax and all.

Location:
Good location a little bit away from the busy central areas where its noisier but close enough to get to in 10 min walk.

Decor:
A bit quirky with inlaid amethyst stone in a rock wall. Modern styling. A display case of meteorites inside a locked glass cabinet. (no joke there really is a meteorite display case next to your toilet, see picture.)

Comfort:
The Amethyst Room was spacious and the bed seems to be a California King Size bed with ample room to sprawl out. There is a very huge sofa and a large bath tub with ambient lighting and water jet function in the bath. In addition the toilet is located in a separate private room on the other side of the room.

Extra perks and entertainment:
Huge TV display, premium coffee maker, a work desk, nice ambient lighting with a star simulated sky above the bed. Bulgari Soap set for those who care about luxury goods. Nice Sony and Harman Kardon sound systems to play music while you get ready.

Staff:
Friendly, Helpful and Professional. I was 3 hours late waking up for my flight out of Osaka,(I blame that comfortable bed, just couldn't get out of it) I rushed out and the staff was helpful in getting me on the go quickly, they were unable to procure a cab due to the weather so the staff pointed me in the right direction in the rain to get to the closest Taxi stand without hesitation.

Thanks for the detailed review. It is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to Dotonbori. The downtown area of Higashi Shinsaibashi is a short distance from the hotel. The room you stayed at this time is Artist Room 612. Amethyst ore embedded in the wall is characteristic. In the toilet glass cabinet, real fragments of meteorites are displayed. The design theme of this room is "Element of the Earth". The bed is 244 cm wide and is probably the largest hotel in the area. The sofa is also large enough to sleep two people. As for the bathroom, you can enjoy the bathroom TV and whirlpool function while soaking in a large-sized bathtub, so it is popular with other guests. The TV in Room 612 is 65 inches large. The coffee machine is from Nespresso and is very fragrant. The lighting on the ceiling above the bed resembles the starry sky on the day of the hotel's grand opening. Thank you for taking beautiful photos of Bulgari bath amenities. It was nice to feel the staff in the hotel helpful. You seem to have slept on the day, but was it okay to return? Thanks for uploading a lot of photos this time. It will be useful for many users. We will try to provide a more comfortable space, so you will be waiting when you come to Japan! Thank you.

great hotel and the location is in a quiet area but it doesnt take long to get to the station or any of the main shopping malls and streets with all the restaurants. the room was a good size. bed was huge. bathroom was good, but the big step up to the bathroom was abit unusual. seperate toilet. had a huge spa with mood lights and a tv on wall. good to have a lounge to sit on. staff were nice and helpful. the free drink/food area was amazing. had a deck up a staircase as well as the downstairs area to relax and have a drink.

We were amazed when entered the room, though it is a small boutique hotel, the room was quite spacious one. We were in 611, asian resort style (note each room is with different design, check out the website before booking). It was even with a jacuzzi for 2!

I booked a surprise package online, and the staff were attentive to ask when to deliver the wine to the room. It was in perfect timing that surprised my boyfriend a lot. The candles and massage oils were placed in the bathroom before we came back, also some small gifts on the coffee table.

Breakfast was delicious, the dining place is in the ground floor with view to the street, modern Japanese interior , quite cozy.

Service was good , they tried to help with all the questions I asked....note that I speak Japanese so I am not sure for those who do not.

About 5 - 10 mins walk to Shinsaibashi station (there is another station which is even closer, with 2 mins walk). Which is super for shopping and dining.

Absolutely horrible experience and lack of empathy from Hotel The Grandee. I chose this hotel because of positive reviews from my friend. I had made a booking and paid close to 500,000JPY (SGD6000) for my room last year, prior to Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is impossible for me to travel to Japan this period, yet I could not even get a refund or change in schedule from the hotel. How is it fair that I have to forego my rooms over country restrictions which I have zero control over??? For the amount I have paid, I expected the hotel to at least give me more flexibility over this.

I really liked the idea of T'point but unfortunately we had an uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

The "zen style of team room" (room 413) is something that must have seemed great in a designer's head, but was totally impractical and uncomfortable in reality. The room is designed inside out - instead of a bedroom with a separate smaller bathroom, most of the room is a large open-plan bathroom with a smaller bedroom within.

In practice, this means you end up sleeping in what amounts to an airless concrete box that is stuffy unless you have the very loud air conditioning on constantly. The whole room is made of concrete and is very uncomfortable - there is nowhere you can relax. There is a cafe area downstairs but it was nearly always empty and completely lacked atmosphere.

On a positive note, the breakfast was good and there is a free bar (limit of 1 drink per person) in the evenings. The location is perfect, near loads of bars and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to Dotonbori.

I would consider staying at T'point again, but would choose a more standard room. Avoid the

Put us in a twin room when on our honeymoon rather than a double. Nobody spoke any English at all, which shouldn't be the case for a smart hotel which takes overseas bookings in a big city. This did prove a problem several times, eg on room and also on forwarding luggage. I'm not daft enough to expect English everywhere but the lady making toast spoke it better than all the ones on reception. Service could be improved

Awesome location just a few minute walk from Dontonburi. The hotel was nice and clean (the room was a bit small but expected). The price was extremely reasonable. The rooms had everything you needed! It is the first hotel I've ever been to that gives you a hair straightener without asking!

I loved the surrounding area, full of little restaurants and shopping. I had pre-ordered a wifi router and had it delivered to my room so I could use it when I got to Japan, they were nice enough to not only accept the package but also left it in my room for me before I even checked in.

Thank you for your nice comments! Our hotel is conveniently accessible from sightseeing spots such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi shopping street. It was nice to be satisfied with the room space and price. A hair straightener is available in all rooms. We are pleased that you have been comfortable with our wireless mobile router in advance. If you have another chance to come back to the hotel next time, please consult about anything. We are looking forward to seeing you another visit from the bottom of my heart.

An easy walk to two different subway stations. So thus very easy to get to from the airport and Namba Station. The rooms are individually designed and it is good to look at their website before you book to choose one that you like. I thought that the price tag attached to the accommodation is an absolute bargain. Location in Shinsaibashi makes it also perfect as it is very central for tourists. Easy walk to most places. Thank you for an excellent stay. My second stay here. Not my last. Really rate this hotel. Walked almost everywhere from here. Very close to excellent restaurants. Just pick any of the streets heading south.

The hotel location and the unique rooms were the main reason we chose this hotel. Make sure you research were the hotel is before arriving as it's not easy to find. The hotel however is only 5 minutes away from the local station and 10 minutes away from Dotonbori. We stayed in a ZEN style bed room like Japanese tea room, this was very cool. There was an open bath and shower and the bed was in a square room. Even though the room was a little rustic (few cracks in the floor and walls) it was a good experience and I stay again if we ever revisit Osaka.

The hotel is located at a very convenient location, around 5 minutes away from the heart of shopping area Shinsaibashi. The hotel design is modern and each room is unique. I had the opportunity to stay in 3 different rooms because I had to come back and forth- but they made up an excellent experience for me! I was always surprised when I walk into a new room, they are all spacious and all the features were so different (stayed at 520, 820 and 514- I thought 820 was the best)

The staffs were very attentive, although spoke only little English. Also, I have to mention that the complimentary breakfast was beyond expectation. Everyday was a different menu, but all tasted amazing!

I will definitely come back to this lovely hotel if I get a chance to visit Osaka again :)
