The hotel is very well located, a short walk from Midosuji subway line and a 24/7 open 7-Eleven just across the street. The room was very small, but clean and cozy, good bed, bathroom, television and wifi. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served downstairs, with Japanese and western options. Recommended!

Just returned from first visit to Japan - 7 night stay at this hotel - average $AUS110 single $AUS120 double - see specials on hotel website -rooms as pictured. VERY GOOD hotel, extremely clean & spotless; nice firm bed, good quality towels, crisp bed linen, doona & pillow -ask for second pillow. My parents stayed in double rm - two large (king) single beds. Nextdoor my rm was single - (king) single bed. Room & bathroom size is small compared to Australia; compact but enough to get by. Window opens just enough to get fresh air. Room inclusions : A/C & heating, desk + chair, daily service, large LCD TV (no English channels - but you can see weather reports if you know your location on Japan map) All toiletries supplied so never used mine. Tiolet/bidet. Tea/(good)coffee, kettle & bar fridge all there too. Cotton yakata (simple cotton kinomo) + slippers provided free in room - wear to ultimate relaxation & free use of natural onsen for weary tourist (B1)(hot spa bath, cold plunge pool & sauna). Separate male & female facility. Ensure correct ettiquette when using. I used most evenings & ensured relaxing tired legs + great sleep. Mircowave, trouser press, ice (all free) on separate floor if you need to use. Vending machines on 2 floors. Bento lunch in local streets Y400 ($AUS5) so cheap, delicious & generous to warm in microwave for dinner in room if too tired to eat out. Take to airport if no meal included on flight.
Breakfast included in price - very good extensive buffet hot/cold east/west food + fruits - GOOD coffee too. (no cereal)
Little to no english at reception but extremely helpful staff supply local map. Recommend train or limo bus to/from KIX airport to Namba station. Taxi for luggage to hotel $AUS10-12. (too many stairs for suitcase even with wheels; but backpacks OK by train) At hotel - Post Office 30 sec walk; Yodoyabashi subway (Midosuji Line-red) 1.5 min walk (west) (exit 11) or Kitahama 4min walk east(Sakaisuji Line-brown) 7/11 & minimart 1-4 min walk. Interesting temple in neighbourhood too. EXCELLENT Rakuya Restaurant 40 sec walk south - the waiter, Makoto, speaks reasonable English. Plenty of similar great eateries very close by. This is business area, mainly foot traffic so not noisy. Hotel on main central North/South (Midosuji Line-red) - 3 stops south to Namba Yen230 / 1 stop north to Umeda Yen200. Very highly recommended as a great place + location to stay. Few western tourists here so we were always greeted with maybe a little surprise but great hospitality. I ensured I could speak some greetings, manners & compliments; plus my preferred menu to enjoy the great food of Osaka. This was always met with great appreciation by all the gracious locals.

Stayed at this place between April 3 to 7 (2014) we are 6 adults and 1 toddler so I booked at booking.com 3 double rooms. I like this hotel coz it has a free onsen downstairs which is open till 1am. Its also a 2 minute walk from the subway. My Osakan friend says that our location is really good which I agree.

there's a nearby convenience store that we always take our breakfast.

Room - we are a Filipino family and will never again on how small our rooms are back home coz this was really really small =) we only have 1 big luggage and that's the only thing it can fit to this room. I envy the next door that got twin beds buy hey I need to live with it. Everyday I always bump into the corner bed, door or something. But ofcourse this is Japan and it was Sakura Season so we need to settle with this. As my room got a toddler and my hubby, its really not a goodnight sleep for me.
If you are a claustrophobic person then THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
Still its affordable and clean and location is good.

Today I find myself staying in this hotel three stars in the room 1210. I reserve directly on their website on the internet. I read the positive reviews so I decided to stay here. When I move in this room, sold for a double room, I did not have space to put your suitcase, no closet, the toilette is very small, and the dirty blanket on the bed with white spots. The bed had a mattress with springs that all felt in the back. I told the front desk but they did not care at all. I can not believe that no one cares. 'm not going to ever in this hotel and would not recommend to anyone. There are other hotels better and more economic than this around here.

Japan hotel rooms can be small but this hotel's room are smaller than a university student's dorm room. The biggest thing in the room was the TV (no non-Japanese stations). The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the bathroom old and tired, and a stool was the only furniture. There isn't even room to put your suitcase out.

The hotel is not far from the subway station. It is a few minutes walk across the street from the subway exit. There is a 7-11 right across the hotel lobby. Breakfast offers a variety of Japanese dishes with a green salad and cut fresh oranges, breads, pastries, soups, porridge, juices, coffee, and tea. The food selections are about the same daily. However, the hostesses are courteous and efficient; they seat people and clear up tables very efficiently.

The room is very small; hardly any room to walk let alone placing luggage. The small and short double bed is flushed against the wall on one side and the other side is about a bit more than a foot from the counter. The big screen TV is atop the counter. We placed our medium luggage on the counter, leaving no room for other item. The hairdryer is hiding under the TV. It seems there was no English channel to watch. Below the counter is a small 'vanity' stool, 2 small trash cans, a square air filter. All these took up all the space under the counter. If the stool is pulled out, there is no room to walk. We placed our carry on luggage on the provided luggage stand in front of the bathroom door. There was just enough room to open the door. When the bathroom door is open, no one can walk pass it. It is difficult to get out of bed for the person sleeping near the wall. The lights, air conditioner, and bathroom fan control panel is placed right above the person sleeping on the other side of the bed. It is annoying when the person sits up and leans against the headboard that this panel is imbedded, the light in the bathroom is turned off. It is annoying while one is in the bathroom. There is no closet but 2 wall hooks and 4 hangers on the wall in front of the bathroom door. 2 clean robes are on the bed each day. The hotel turned off the air conditioning system so unable to adjust the temperature. Leaving a crack in the window helped; however, the noise from the outside construction and people walking on the street below can become annoying. The hotel has free OnSen on the basement for men and women. Each has coin-operated washer and dryer. There are microwave ovens, ironing boards, and vending machines on the 3rd floor. The staff do not speak English well, but try to help. The room is clean daily. The efficient use of tiny space is shown by the entry door that has a small counter top that holds electric kettle and a small tray. The small tray holds 2 mugs and 4 teabags. Below the counter is a small fridge with 1 free bottled water a day...Some days, the housekeeper forgot, but no big deal. Below the fridge are 2 pairs of bedroom slippers, a shoe horn, and a shoe brush. This hotel is good for a short stay for the price and convenient location.

The room was as small as expected, the view on the 12th floor was really nice and the bed was one of the best ones I've ever slept in! I fancy hard mattresses. The onsen downstairs was quite average, but rarely crowded (at least the ladies' area) so you could really bathe in peace. The location of the hotel is handy if you wanna visit the center and Namba area, it is quite in the middle and the surrounding area is business orientated so it's quite peaceful at night time.

The location is superb! Right at the centre of Osaka city and starting of Keihan line to Kyoto. From subway Yodoyabashi exit 12, only 5mns walk to Hotel. Room is simple, clean. But standard room's space is tight and double bed is only good for one person. Twin bed room with 2 beds are likely to secure your sleeping quality is you are sharing a room with another person.Hotel guests are free to use the hot spring bath on basement with showers and basin of 2, sauna.

Rooms are small which is reasonably normal in Japan, but the beds very very hard. These were the hardest beds of all the hotels I stayed in during my trip. Hot spring in the basement is actually an onsen which you can not use if you have a tattoo regardless of how small, my issue is that this was not clear on booking or even in the room information you actually don't find out until you go down to the basement to use the hot springs. I also think that if you are paying nearly $200 Aud per night than you should have access to the facilities offered by the hotel.

Before I check-in, I read some bad comments here. But once I entered this hotel, I found out that there's nothing to be worried. The counter staffs and the facilities are pretty good. Only one point should be noticed, the room was quiet small, too small for big luggage. The location and the quality of room are also good.
