It’s not that often to leave hotel reviews for us, but it’s such a pleasure to do it this time! We travel a lot, and we’ve seen lots of hotels, but this one is something different. It’s just perfect! Really! This location – only people who can really feel the beauty of this place (we think that the lake Carrera...

After our wonderful visit last year at about the same time to this stunningly beautiful region, we can conclude that our observations of that time, were absoultely correct. (See my review of March 19, 2016: "a gem on the shores of Lake General Carrera" etc. The place is wonderful, the cabins are great, the food is very good, but what...

Wonderful accommodation in a wooden cabin with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful turquoise Lake General Carera. Although it was January and "summer", we lit the wood-burning stove each night we were there, which added to the secluded and very romantic atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) delicious. This was the...

We travelled in Chili along the Carretera Austral. We stayed during two nights at El Mirador de Guadal. We had an excellent stay. The rooms are very clean, excellent situated along the lake and very spacious. The owner pays a lot of attention to his guests. The evening dinner is also of excellent quality and not expensive. One can choose...

The view from our cabin was stunning! Our cabin was on the shore of Lago Carrera with views of Monte San Valentine and the Silver Shield. The cabin was great, cozy with modern bathrooms. We had our own wood heater in the evening with wood provided. The hosts, Steven and Carolina, were great and told us about other places to...

Each cabin also has a wood burning fire place and a small kitchen with fridge, tea kettle and coffee/tea. All cabins have...

Simple but cosy cabins, all with a stunning view right on the shore of Lago Carrera and looking out on the snow-topped mountains behind it. It can be quite windy and the lake can sound like a sea! Stephan and his wife are lovely hosts, making their guests feel welcome, and providing excellent recommendations for excursions in the region. The...

Good place to be there for more than one day. Very quiet place and nice cabins with much privacy. They can arrange also a trip to the caves. Better than in puerto ....which is very touristic. Nice people, owners with personal care. Internet could be a little bit better. Warm water in cabin good be a little more warmer.
