Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed at the Port Gregory caravan park in April this year and it is one of the best, if not the best park we have stayed in. All the sites were grassed and the park is exceptionally well maintained. We will have no hesitation staying at this park in the future and would recommend this park to anyone staying in this area. The only negative, when we checked in, the guy behind the desk said we could get TV and we spent nearly an hour and a half trying to get it, only to find we had to put our satellite dish up. Best WIFi we've ever had.

We have arrived home after our best Christmas + New Year break at Port Gregory. The kids had the best 10 days making friends, playing and enjoying a bit of freedom in this beautiful caravan park. This was the perfect spot to set up in for beach days in the lagoon, visits to Lucky Bay, Kalbarri and Northampton…with a quiet place to chill at after a day out. Sam & Tim keep the park to an amazing standard and were so accommodating with the power outages that were across the region (it’s amazing how people perceive these outages to be the park not the whole area!). Even with power down the wonderful breeze made for great afternoons with friends.
The rec room and bbq area was really generous and always clean and the amenities were great and always spotless.
Loved our stay so much we’ve booked in for next Jan.

We stayed at Port Gregory for 1 night to show our daughter the pink lake while heading up north. We received a great welcome from the owner upon arrival.
We were placed in a bay that was very accommodating to us sleeping in swags as it was lovely and green. The facilities were close by and were very clean. The shower was hot in the morning which is great after a long night on the ground.
There wasn't too much for us to do in town as we are not a fishing family but if you are then Port Gregory is a great place to stay.

I booked for May 2022 when WA announced borders would reopen on Feb 4. Then on Jan 20 the WA Premier announced that borders would remain closed indefinitely. We had to cancel because it threw our big lap plans to WA into chaos. This Park is the only place that charged a $25 cancellation fee. Bad profit.

We had a last minute thought to getaway for the long weekend and were fortunate enough to secure a cabin at the Port Gregory Caravan Park.

We stayed in a Non Ensuite cabin ( #27) which was well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen including a stove, microwave, all utensils and a full size fridge/freezer. The covered area outside our cabin was a great area to sit and relax.

The bathroom amenities were a short walk away and were very clean and never an issue with overcrowding. Although we could see the Camp kitchen and recreation area we had no need to use these facilities so can not really comment.

Our welcome was pleasant, easy to check in and out and the advice given by the was greatly appreciated and the coffee was good too.......

With a short drive we were on the beach and could drive for miles in either direction and swim and take in the beautiful location...... The park has a compressor which made it easy to inflate the tyres after returning from the beach.

Overall a great stay, great location and great people which will definitely make us return.

Great spot, very quiet with green mesh for keeping van tidy. Lovely clean park and amenities are spotless. Park is 300m walking distance to gorgeous beach and pink lake just around the corner. Convenient store a block down that has everything you need including alcohol. The real standout was the Recreation Room, this will keep the big and liitle kids happy for hours and the video games are 20c for 4 credits!

Park is clean and quiet and I know the owners are committed to everyone enjoying their stay. I was however a little taken aback when we arrived at our cabin to find no a/c, which in this location is quite necessary. I didn't think there would be cabin accommodation that was without a/c nowadays. It Had 2 rooms, the main cooking area with a bunk bed had a ceiling fan and in the main bedroom......nothing. It was pretty awful trying to sleep.
Be aware.

Spent 4 nights here ,loved being so close to the pink lake, quiet site and town very close to the beach which dogs are allowed on. Very remote small shop for basics so make sure you're prepared. Kalbarri 45 mins away with an IGA in. Site has dated facilities but clean. Need to have own water here rain water via filter available.

With no accommodation available at Kalbarri we decided to stay at Port Gregory which is only 45 minutes away. We stayed in a self-contained cabin which was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Couldn't fault anything apart from the 'tired' lounge. Walking distance to the beach and the Pink Lake. Only general store is just around the corner. Good place to 'catch your breath' on your travels.

Port Gregory is a very town we called in there because of school holidays and could not get into Kalbarri.
Port Gregory is where the Pink Lake is located you will pass it as you drive in Port Gregory
The Caravan park is the only one in town we found the people who manage it or own it very nice and very helpful.
Keep this place in mind if you cannot get into Kalbarri it is only 64km drive
